Someone threatened my allotment.

I was sat in my allotment, minding my own business, having just potted some beansprouts and some mad couple come bowling over to me demanding I move my chair and leave their allotment!

I'd only just settled in with my voddy & orange in a Stanley Cup and a copy of Take A Break.

Weather was 19° and not muddy at all.

They said its their land! I said it bloody ruddy is not, I've been here 10 years and I put this bloody ruddy shed here myself. It cost me £89 from B&Q. And I had to pay someone from the face book £40 to put it up too. In cash!

AIBU to think finders keepers, losers weepers?? If they wanted the land they shouldn't have waited 3 months to come visit, even if it had been pissing it down for months and who in their right mind would bother with checking an allotment in a pissy February right after moving and being ill too?

I'm currently going through my paper bin to find some cardboard to make some signs saying 'Big Barbara's Beansprouts, keep away'
And tonight I'm going hedgehog hunting so I can strategically place the prickly bastards on leads around the perimeter of MY land.

You could try disguising yourself as a scarecrow, which would mean you were always on site to hear if they are discussing sneaky ways to make you leave like eviction and I can imagine the bailiffs reaction when the 'scarecrow' comes to life and starts throwing unpotted bean shoots about.

Apparently some people doing Community Service were tasked with planting some daffodil bulbs on a mini roundabout. Residents only realised they had been planted to read 'F* You' when they came up...

@BigBarbara A word to the wise, and don't tell them I told you, but the husband of the new owners is threatening to come down to your the allotment and start naked gardening. I suggest you get in first, that should scare the buggers orf. Imagine thinking they can just stroll in, cool as you like, and start using their own land, I mean, where will it end?

Baffled by the posters who take the time to come on and say how unfunny it is. If you're not amused, that's perfectly fine, but it's odd to take it all so seriously.

I'm not sure if you're offended on behalf of the OP (who is on here stating that she does find it funny), or if you're keen to highlight that your sense of humour is too highly developed for this kind of low level, light hearted stuff...
