brushing hair at desk in office - Yea or Nay?

AIBU to brush my hair at my desk or should I go to the loo to brush it. For context share office with one other person who I doubt cares. But is it bad etiquette? I have long hair.

Wouldn’t bother me at all….we come in and out of our office all day , so often have windswept hair….people brush their hair all the time

Why are people scared of human head hair.

Most aren't. I don't know why you are throwing around the word phobia. It's just about consideration of others in shared spaces.

I think it's strange that it bothers you

I don't like finding random long hairs in my workspace. Many of my colleagues also complain about the person who does it. It would be fine if you were in your own workspaces with plenty of room and never shared. We are open plan and seated close enough to have needed screens between desks during covid.

I might feel differently if I worked like that.

I probably wouldn't like working like that in general.

@Kalevala I've just asked my colleague what she thinks and she just laughed and said it wouldn't bother her at all. She's not on Mumsnet but loves the bizarre stories I tell her.

I give mine a quick brush at my desk if I'm wearing it loose before I go home.
No one cares.
