To share with you my delicious takeaway… yes that is for one person and yes that is a parmo 👌🏼

I assume that's a sharing box for 2 that will have left overs for lunch tomorrow?

It would last my family of six for a week. We're all teeny tiny.

Circumferences · 18/03/2024 11:16

Sorry but I'm in camp "what, you'd pay to eat that??" 😂

mydogisthebest · 18/03/2024 07:40

Steph McGovern was always going on about parmos on her Packed Lunch show. I thought how disgusting they sounded. Just surprised people don't eat them covered in gravy as so many northerners seem incapable of eating anything without gravy on it

Yes, I never eat anything without gravy, we even carry mini bottles of the stuff Confused

I live in Lancashire and I think I last had gravy about 2 months ago. Unless you count beef stew, cottage pie etc as gravy

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 18/03/2024 11:29

Not sure what a parmo is but that all looks good, could easily eat all that! 😁

Fartooold · 18/03/2024 12:12

Jesus, always one isn't there Hmm

No. You obviously didn't read on..... never mind pet.

@CutthroatDruTheViolent

Always one what?

mydogisthebest · 18/03/2024 10:53

It is a bad thing because gravy is vile and pointless.

Why on earth do people pour a liquid over food and ruin it? Nice crisp roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding but lets ruin it by making it soggy.

As for gravy and chips - disgusting and vile.

It seems that northerners can't eat food unless it is soggy, like baby food and tastes of gravy.

I want my food to taste of what it is and be crisp if it is meant to be. I have teeth I don't need to eat soggy food

Nice gravy is nice - on appropriate food.

The nasty gloop I see poured all over things it shouldn't be (cheese, wtf), online, makes me heavey.

Do people get a weird kick out of coming on these threads and pretending to be all horrified? 😂

I think they do. And I bet a large proportion of the teeny tiny people who claim to only eat three lettuce leaves and a chick pea for lunch are really 20 stone and are posting inbetween shovelling in sausage rolls and meat pies 😆😆

I think it’s chicken in breadcrumbs smothered in melted cheese and white sauce , I shit you not.

thst take away is likely in the region of 1500 calories. But the op is slim and healthy and only ate a quarter of it. So as such, she likely consumed less than 400 calories for her dinner, much lower calorie than many dinners,

Ooh sounds good to me 😁
I definitely don't count calories when having a takeaway, takes half the fun out of it lol

I think the 1500 is a conservative estimate!

All on 6 figure salaries while raising polite, sporty teens

You’re probably right, maybe closer to 2000 , but as yo8 only ate a quarter for you it was not a major unhealthy meal. Sure not a veg fest, unless you count the pizza toppings and chips. But for someone slim and healthy, meh, no big deal.

i think the issue some folks thought you were going to sit down and put it all away. Which unless you had a binge eating disorder would be very difficult to do.

it looks like it should be on an episode of man v food.😂

Is that brown stuff seaweed?

😂

usernother · 18/03/2024 13:35

A full size Parmo on its own is usually about 2000 calories.

Yes. It makes them feel great about themselves Grin

pleasecallmeback · 18/03/2024 13:44

Such food snobbery about a takeaway!! I'm another northerner without a flat cap, nor a whippet and I don't have gravy on everything. A parmo is an absolute delight to eat - obviously not everyday or I'd be the size of a house and posting anxiously about where to buy Ozempic.

Yes, I was drily answering the 'yum yum' post.

FrancisSeaton · 18/03/2024 14:48

Ahahahahaha FML the comments as ever do not disappoint

I assume that portion is to feed an African village for a year^ tilty head/tinkly laugh^

YoongiMarryMe · 18/03/2024 16:29

Some of you have never had a Munchy Box and it really shows!

I get one with pizza, chips, donor kebab meat, 2 chicken pakoras, and 2 spicy veg pakoras. Yum yum. Grin I eat it over 2 days too!

I already had diabetes before discovering these boxes so fuck it. 😂

Not quite as funny when you're getting your foot cut off...

Wonkypictureframe · 18/03/2024 18:16

Who the hell doesn’t put gravy on roast potatoes?

Anyway, I am a Southerner and love chips in gravy. DH is a Northerner and thinks I’m mad.
