To share with you my delicious takeaway… yes that is for one person and yes that is a parmo 👌🏼

@Fartooold that's hilarious. A victim of your own success

@Bjorkdidit lol. It absolutely isn't. Two children maybe or two people that aren't hungry.

@mydogisthebest I'm going to assume you didn't mean to be so derogatory to northerners and it's not written in that tone but otherwise you need to get over yourself.

so many northerners seem incapable of eating anything without gravy on it - you say that like it's a bad thing.

Steph McGovern was always going on about parmos on her Packed Lunch show. I thought how disgusting they sounded. Just surprised people don't eat them covered in gravy as so many northerners seem incapable of eating anything without gravy on it

I’m sure OP is sat with her flat cap on and her whippet next to her

Why are people posting shit on aibu? Take-away crap and RF conspiracy theory bollox

Because there are so many attention seekers who use Mumsnet, that think AIBU is Mumsnet because it gets “the most traffic”.

Topics that would barely be of interest in Chat (which incidentally gets tons of traffic) now litter this board, because AIBU is seen as the “headline slot” section of Mumsnet and they want the most attention.

Kinsella1 · 18/03/2024 08:18

I could have eaten all that at one time but not now, since I've adjusted my eating, and I wouldn't want to now either. I'd feel like shit after. Plus that donner meat doesn't look nice at all, I always ask for it to be sliced thinly and well done.

Aye, we all eat our tea with ferrets up our troosers while our whippets sit next to us in flat caps 🙄

Beezknees · 18/03/2024 09:08

I can't stand doner meat but the rest looks good 🤤

Looks lovely, I could eat that AND have a normal shit afterwards

And with that username 🤣🤣🤣

The title of this thread made me think it was about the Mikado😂😂😂

Diabetes in a box. Convenient!

You think the highest thing is sugar? Surely it is more fatty than sweet? So the joke would be - heart attack / stroke in a box?

Refined carbs are sugar. But yes, your arteries will not thank you.

It snot like this is what she eats all day every day.

Holypricks · 17/03/2024 21:32

Well the other two would seem healthy and, I would be about the same myself, but I put healthy eating in the same camp/bracket/lifestyle. It seems a bit of a discordant choice.
Could I eat it? Yes.
Would I order and eat it? No, and I don’t think I’d particularly enjoy it.
I did have a big fat roast dinner today so no doubt had the same fat and calories. Perhaps the lack of colour and veg… get some salad with that doner.

Edit to say I was answering your ‘why’

Edited

This may come as a shock to you, but some people are actually capable of living their lives in a normal, flexible way rather than sticking to rigid and restrictive rules. Plenty of people eat healthily 95% of the time but still enjoy the odd takeaway.

Hardly rigid not wanting to eat that!

No envy from me - it looks revolting!

Same 😂
Except maybe the pizza. I'd eat that. That slimy looking stuff on the bottom left has made me feel a bit queasy (sorry OP) 🫣

Momstermunch · 18/03/2024 10:33

Another one disappointed this isn't about donuts. Specifically, Lidl yum yums 😋

Tessisme · 18/03/2024 10:33

I could probably eat that, but my stomach wouldn't thank me. I seem to have a reaction to oily food, even 'good' oil. But it looks dirtily delicious. Hope you enjoyed it OP and are indeed still enjoying it this morning😁

NC03 · 18/03/2024 10:45

It's one meal Confused
What's with all the I couldn't shit after it and fibre questions
Not every meal has to be a perfectly balanced one

It is a bad thing because gravy is vile and pointless.

Why on earth do people pour a liquid over food and ruin it? Nice crisp roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding but lets ruin it by making it soggy.

As for gravy and chips - disgusting and vile.

It seems that northerners can't eat food unless it is soggy, like baby food and tastes of gravy.

I want my food to taste of what it is and be crisp if it is meant to be. I have teeth I don't need to eat soggy food

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/03/2024 10:56

Is that brown stuff seaweed?

I assume that's a sharing box for 2 that will have left overs for lunch tomorrow?

Jesus, always one isn't there Hmm

peachescariad · 18/03/2024 11:05

You enjoy op! Never heard of a parmo but now want to try one 😆
Ex food safety EHO here an I've seen doner kebabs made too many times.....never had one since, so I'd never put that into my body.
But the rest is dirty delish!

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 18/03/2024 11:05

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/03/2024 10:56

Is that brown stuff seaweed?

No. That would be relatively healthy. I thought it was pasta but apparently it's donner kebab meat.

LadyKenya · 18/03/2024 11:09

That food looks highly unappetizing, and surely must be for two people to share, I would have thought.

So don’t you eat any soggy food? So you don’t put milk on cereal? How do you eat all? Dry Confused

Also I’ve had to have maxiofacial surgery and I have to have soft food, unfortunately mashed potato ( one food I can actually eat without screaming in pain) goes cold really quickly unless I pour hot gravy on it!
