I don't meal like bugs, heights, death ... I mean something strange.. unconventional.. something that might need a bit of explanation.

I'll go first -

Water towers ... the thought of them makes me shudder.

Buttons, especially shirt buttons.

The feeling of milk or toothpaste if it accidentally gets on my hands.

Anchors or chains or shipwrecks underwater.

Being on a pier or boat and realising that the water beneath me is so deep and dark and never-ending. Utterly terrifying.

Huge water towers and sky scrapers. They just kind of.....loom.

Anything to do with eyes. I have terrible eyesight, but the thought of ever trying contact lenses is to me horrifying.

So glad you said water towers 😆 they do loom !! Awful things. And those cooling towers too... and gas towers !! Although you don't see them so much anymore

Not me but a friends mum. But it's weird enough it stuck with me in my head for decades.
When I was in school a friend's mum was terrified of buttons.
She couldn't do the laundry if clothes in there had buttons so every August before a new school year she would do the back to school uniform shopping, take a bunch of anti anxiety meds and a mild sedative, then cut every button off my friends new school shirts and sit there hand sewing popper buttons and press studs in their place instead.

wind turbines, hydro stations, dams.

I'm not against renewable power but these things make me uneasy.

Whatever the material is that they make those "magic" sponges with. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw something. That's purely a textural thing.
