Hi Guys just received this from
my neighbours. We’ve gotten a new pup but there is minimal if no smell at all. She poops beside the bins so if anything they’d be smell from the bins. The gate must have only opened as it wasn’t banging previous to this message. It’s not easy to look into our garden through the fences either so it’s clear they are going out of their way. Could I get some help responding to the second text. Thanks!

Maybe the puppy can poo inside the house as it doesn’t smell after all. Grin

Now that is a good idea!

Just an update for the people that weren’t too helpful.

we pick up the poo regularly but have had a vomiting bug for two days. It’s puppy poo which you cannot smell outside and especially in the colder weather. The garden was last cleaned on Monday so there’s hardly any poo out there. My issue is that you really need to try to even see into our garden. We do not share a garden at all. There are two fences between us!!

Oh come on take a look at yourself. Your post is from your perspective, you have given your side (twice), and you're still insistant that your neighbour is the one in the wrong because she's asked you to clear up a load of dog poo.

Who cares if you think it doesn't smell?! You know most people don't want to live beside an environmental hazard, right? There's a reason all the replies here say similar, and it's not bevause we have all misunderstood that your puppy's poo doesn't stink and your neighbour has many fences between you!

Crazycrazylady · 06/03/2024 19:00

Honestly op. Instead of directing your attention to stating how she's totally wrong and how your pile of puppy poo doesn't stink , stop being that neighbour and pick up the shit ffs.

Who leaves it out like that.! Honestly

GoldDuster · 06/03/2024 19:51

Think about it, if they can't see it because of the fence or whatever, they can smell it. Otherwise how would they know it was there?!

Apologise, they sound very reasonable. Pick up every poop, and fix the gate.

"Puppy poo" give over. Pick up your dogs shit before you piss off your neighbours!

CrotchetyQuaver · 06/03/2024 21:02

You need to clear up the dog 💩 because it smells and they (not unreasonably) don't like the smell. Who would? If you don't want to put it in the bin take it inside and tip down the toilet. Then clean the dogs pooping area.

Probably best the gate is properly closed so the puppy can't escape.

If you don't do as they've politely asked and start clearing up the mess properly then you're going to end up falling out with the neighbours because of your slovenly ways.

hahaha dear lord that'll teach OP a thing or two about puppy poo smells!!!!

Day 2 of our pup living with us, I didn't quite manage to get to her in the middle of the night in time, and she had an accidental poo indoors (luckily on a hard floor so easy to clean). But my GOD thank stank, even after cleaning it up and disinfecting. Scented candles and open windows didn't touch the sides for about 3 hours after!

Needless to say I have improved my timings of toilet breaks and that was the first and last time indoor toileting happened.

PUPPY POO DOES SMELL!

Everanewbie · 07/03/2024 10:33

Hi OP. Sort the gate out, clear up the shite. Block the border part that the puppy likes to shite at. Then reply apologising for the noise and the smell, thank them for bringing it to your attention and tell them that you have fixed it.

Assume good faith and try see things from their perspective.
