Confronted man at drive through?

So I wanted a coffee and decided to drive now to McDonald’s. Did my order and I’m waiting behind another car who is taking ages.

Car comes up behind me and starts loudly revving his engine at me and then holds his horn down after waiting maybe 3 minutes. The car in front of me is around the bend so not visible to him but you’d think common sense would have told him that.

He then gets out of his car and storms by and looks around the corner and obviously sees the car, waits a few seconds and walks back. Had my window down anyway so I asked him - why did you feel the need to beep at me, it’s pretty obvious I’m waiting to move too. And his response was - calm down and he stormed back to his car and made a big show of each time I moved to the next window that he was as close as possible behind me.

Probably a none event and I’m not confrontational at all but how aggressive he was to me for literally doing nothing really annoyed me.

Was I being unreasonable to have said anything or should I have let it go?

My most memorable male twat story isn’t about aggression as such. I had to park near the shops, a typical London road with minimal street parking. I am pretty good at parallel parking after years of practice but there was only one decent space so I parked there. An entitled man in his car drove up and said that he needed to park there to be near his house. He gave some nonsensical reasons. He then pointed at a place further down and told me I should park there. I gave a genuine apologetic smile, and said that the other place was too small for me and whilst I was quite good at parking, I was sorry but did not think I would be able to get my car in there. He rolled his eyes and muttered angrily under his breath as he drove off. He then tried to park in that space several times and couldn’t. He drove off with a clearly angry and embarrassed screech of his tyres. I really hope he saw my daughter and me laughing at him in his rear view mirror.

I've had many instances like this - its always men.

One that happens often is when some bloke makes a huge dangerous effort to overtake a queue of cars only to have to brake suddenly due to a red light just ahead (which if you know the area you know there are loads of traffic lights). The best one is when there are two lanes and you end up pulling up next to him, after he's screeched past you smugly, look over and you can see he's making a massive effort to avoid eye contact because he knows he now looks like a right dick 😂
