My husband still thinks everything is because of Covid

Sorry, I didn't know how to word the title.

His attitude is making me want a divorce. Ever since Covid he's adopted views which I completely disagree with and I think he's verging on conspiracy theory.

I just mentioned to him this evening that Chris Hoy has cancer.

Instantly he said "that's because of the Covid vaccine."

WHAT???

I'm actually so angry because he genuinely believes he's right and I'm wrong.

Everything that goes wrong is because of the vaccine.

Wwyd in this situation?

I think the real problem in all this is the people who will point blank refuse to see tje pharmaceutical industry as a 'for profit' industry... they want people sick and on drugs
You only have to look at the opioid epidemic sweeping the USA and the incredibly eminent doctors who are asking you to look at facts that don't add up. No the covid jab is not responsible for all the worlds ills but it was given or in some cases forced on healthy people who would not have died of covid and instead caused them a host of other problems - but the vast majority of people don't want to look too closely at that because they were all desperate to get back to normal.

BabyCloud · 21/10/2024 08:39

I blame a lot on covid because so much has gone downhill since then.

Genevieva · 21/10/2024 08:39

Tell him the stats on cycling and prostrate cancer.

A quick online search reveals:
while the risk of prostate cancer is six times higher for riders putting in over 8.5 hours per week than those riding 3.75 hours or less, they have a lower chance of a diagnosis than non-cyclists.

It doesn’t say who their non-cycling control group are (no exercise desk jobs, generally unhealthy lifestyle or not) but it’s likely not people getting 8.5 hours exercise a week. And I suspect that Hoy did multiple times that. What this reinforces is that lifestyle factors are to blame for a lot of cancers. It’s very sad that his prostrate cancer was not caught earlier and I’d urge all men who are keen cyclists to have their PSI checked regularly.

Bianconeri80 · 21/10/2024 11:00

...but what if he's right? While he has no way of proving if this particular case is a direct result of the covid vaccines, that doesn't mean that it isn't. There is a growing amount of evidence from scientists, doctors & experts globally that are now raising serious questions over the safety of the vaccines. For example, are you aware that several Countries have now completely paused the booster rollout due to these concerns? Are you also away of the record number of excess deaths globally since the initial rollout? Of course, correlation does not prove causation, but it does warrant further investigation. Don't dismiss it out of hand or judge him too quickly. It's in a mans nature to look out for any potential dangers to his family, community or country and to pay attention to the political landscape.

The "huge" number of young athletes dropping dead is not down to Covid or vaccines

There are a number of heart conditions which remain undiagnosed - penny pinching on the part of professional clubs and a lack of awareness at amateur level means that young people aren't getting the investigations they need before being put on the field of play

High levels of activity and stress tend to bring on the conditions needed to cause the predisposed heart to stop

There are campaigns on a regular basis to remember SADS, arrythymias and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but 7 day holter monitors are a faff and expensive

John Major's son had a condition diagnosed when he was a young man and he ended up with some kind of pacemaker long before Covid struck

Hmm, these are professional footballers who undergo regular medical a so they’re insurable. But keep sticking your head in the sand. Or you’re part of the narrative.

In reply to @ethernetmum

Dalgliesh has stated no such thing and the Norwegian study states no such thing, although one of the authors did make statements to Norwegian media

https://fullfact.org/health/richard-dearlove-coronavirus-claims/

Ironically, Professor Dalgliesh is studying the viability of retroviruses and immunotherapy in the fight against cancer and slanderous reposts of junk like yours, could well be used to discredit his work

‘Full fact’ says it all really. The fact chokers out in full force. seems that Chris Hoy took the shot. Was it Pfizer or AZ?

Yesterday I watched John Campbell's most recent upload regarding the contamination of 'the jabs' with trillions of lipid encapsulated DNA contaminants, including the carcinogenic wild monkey virus, SV40, which was first discovered as a contaminant of the Jonas Salk polio vaccine. I think that it's fairly safe to say that nurse educator John Campbell is far more qualified to speak to this than any of us here. Definitely worth a listen if you're actually interested in the current facts.

He is. He was fooled in the beginning too.
Looks like Hoy and possibly his wife took the jab. Pfizer or AZ?

I work in a supermarket. I worked through the whole of the Covid thing, and almost without exception the customers who came in during that time, telling me how it was all a Government conspiracy/designed to get us fitted with microchips/vaccines would kill us all - were people who had very little power or intellect. It was their way of feeling superior. At last, they had something over those who were qualified, experienced and intelligent, and they hung on to that tiny bit of superiority that they could feel.

It was all horribly sad. Most of them have now forgotten all that and gone back to being the downtrodden and the left behind, but a few can't forget that for one glorious moment they thought they knew the 'secrets'.

They still do in my experience.

Those who started believing all the conspiracy rubbish during covid graduated to more and more conspiracies.

You hit the nail on the head when describing why those people latch onto this garbage.

@Gingernaut

"The "huge" number of young athletes dropping dead is not down to Covid or vaccines"

On this I would agree with you.

However I would say though that the large numbers of missed cancer diagnosis and missed cardio problems are due to the lockdown measures.

I listened to Prof Dalgliesh in person with other doctors and 800 other people present. He said he was told to be quiet by St George’s, and he refused.

The mRNA 'vaccines' have had more serious reactions reported than all the other vaccines combined. How's that for a slither of truth?

'These side effects included: death (which Pfizer does list as a “serious adverse event”)...over 1,233 deaths in first three months of the drug being publicly available.'

There's a book about it.

The Pfizer Papers: Pfizer’s Crimes Against Humanity

You are wasting your time on those who use insults and call others conspiracy theorists. It's the only thing they have left to hang onto not knowing what on earth they allowed to be administered into their bodies.
I'm just so glad I don't have that constant worry as I wasnt stupid. Or my kids ☺️

The irony of an anti vaxxer claiming not to be stupid.
You couldn't make it up...
And I know exactly what I got, thanks. Protection from a potentially deadly disease, and preventing my CEV son from dying. I just hope to God he doesn't come into contact with bloody fools like you. You are all fucking dangerous and your smug attitude is revolting.

niadainud · 29/10/2024 20:24

Oh God, the utter smugness, the scoffing, the puffing of the chest... The incredulity that anyone could be stupid enough to follow mainstream media. The unshakeable belief that they know better than everyone else - and they have the YouTube clips to prove it! They've done their research, doncha know?

My brother went through a phase of this before I told him to pack it in, and every stupid clip or article he sent could be debunked with about two minutes of googling.

Please don't dismiss those that are raising the alarm about these vaccines as "anti vaxxers". I had the first two shots myself but have since learned that they are indeed dangerous. It's still too early to understand just how dangerous they are and how many people will be affected, but the evidence is growing to suggest that the rise in cancer, sudden deaths, myocarditis & other health issues globally are the result of these shots. Perhaps you know of people yourself who have developed cancer or other health issues since having been vaccinated? I certainly do. Now, we can either live in denial with our heads in the sand because we have been vaccinated & because we have vaccinated our children, or we can find out what's really going on and hold those demons behind it responsible, ensuring that such a crime against humanity never happens again. It's easier to end all discussion by labelling people as conspiracy theorists or anti vaxxers, but we owe it to ourselves & our families to face up to the truth, because this isn't going away.

Gingernaut · 30/10/2024 09:10

Correlation is not causation

Lockdown caused many GP and hospital appointments to be missed and many people who would have been diagnosed earlier are now suffering - doesn't mean the vaccinations are the cause

It also doesn't mean that the vaccines aren't the cause. Many of the deaths or illnesses that we are seeing have occured long after the lockdowns. I completely understand why people are so reluctant to even contemplate that the vaccine could be the cause, but all indications are that they were neither safe nor effective. A full independent investigation must take place to determine whether this is the case. Unfortunately, far too many powerful people & organisations have far too much to lose after pushing those vaccines.

Wisep83 · 31/10/2024 09:57

Thementalloadisreal · 16/02/2024 19:04

I have a few people in my life who think everything was caused by vaccines.

The maddest one at the moment is “everyone has coughs and colds at the moment, probably because of the Covid vaccine”.. um no, it’s much more likely to be because of Covid! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Honestly if my husband started with this shit I wouldn’t be able to take him seriously anymore.

I think if you open your eyes and ears and listen to top doctors (who haven't been censored) about what these dna altering clot shots can do, you'll start joining the dots.

Stop burying your head in the sand love

GilesMayall · 05/11/2024 06:44

Open your eyes, educate yourself with peer-reviewed papers and listen to the scientists, and doctors as the knowledge on this subject evolves under the day-to-day news coverage.

What you discover might be hard to hear and challenge many decisions you have made based on what you understood as facts, but it may save your marriage.

John Campbell on Youtube is a great place to start.
