To be annoyed by my weight but not my size?

This is just venting... But I'm fairly heavy for my size and always have been.

I'm currently 68kg / 1.59m and a size 8 or 13y in kids clothes.

You can actually see my abs and most certainly don't look chubby but definitely not skinny either. I'm very much happy with my size though.

I don't really lift (15lbs is the heaviest dumbbell I own) but I do workout.

It's really annoying because I never feel my weight is a true reflection of my size.

Even at my skinniest (around 52-53kg) I looked way too thin even though for all terms and purposes I was a healthy weight. (I was a size 4 at the time).

i can believe you're a size 8, i'm a bit shorter than you and at that weight I'd be comfortably in a size 10 or even an 8 in some brands. I'm narrow shouldered, small busted and carry all my weight round my thighs, bum and middle but I'm definitely heavy for my size which I put down to exercise and weight training. Last time i went for a medical the nurse was shocked at how much I weighed! At the top end of my BMI range I wear size 12 trouers and 10-12 tops.

It's ALT / AST

I don't know a great deal about these liver function tests, but I don't think a high level of these is always an indicator of good health. Don't they indicate muscle damage? They'd be high in someone who's just run a marathon for example. I don't think it's something to aspire to, more that in the event of them being elevated and the patient indicating they do a great deal of exercise it would likely rule out other liver disease.
This would have to be ruled out though, by (as in the case of my elevated CK levels - see above), I needed to rule out heart damage.

Yes that's what they indicate. But because they measure around 30-50 markers they get a pretty decent idea of my overall health.

I have no cholesterol nor sugar problems. Everything else is balanced apart from iron (which is my main issue).

And yes I run marathons. London last year was the latest.

It's a great shame that your hangup about your weight is clouding the fact that you are clearly very fit and healthy (going by everything you've said).
It might have given you more of a confidence boost to start a thread celebrating your marathon achievement.

What was your marathon time?

I was originally going for a BQ (Boston qualifier) but I had a TERRIBLE training season. It was 3:57 in the end.
