Aibu to think "panty liners" should be re-named?

I'd be happy with "pant liners", but I'm open to other suggestions.

To me, the word "panties" is either a sexualised or infantilised version of the word "pants". I cringe when I see it on supermarket products.

Knicker stickers, knicker liners, mini pads have my vote. What about undieliners?

Panties make me think of creepy guys who give me the ick.

Love knicker stickers but might abbreviate to knickstix in everyday conversation.

Panties also has connotations of wispy, delicate little things. Knickers sounds much more substantial and more in line with the size of mine.

Yup panty/panties is a 100% porn-sick male word. It makes me feel queasy.

I don't call them panties, not because I see any sexual connotation, just that I'm a grown woman and don't need to stick 'ies' on the end of things unnecessarily. Knicker liners is fine. Pantliners fine too. Knicker stickers is brilliant!

I use reusable cloth ones which are really nice. They're called liners pads. No panty, fanny or gusset mentioned.
