I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

Yesterday I had the exact same food as the day before. Today will be:

Breakfast: Coffee with a dash of dairy milk.

Lunch: Carrot, lentil and tahini soup topped with mixed seeds and a dollop of Greek yogurt - plus a sheet of nori, glug of apple cider vinegar, slurp of beetroot juice and bite of turmeric root as well. 1/2 an apple.

Dinner: I'm going out for dinner tonight, so looking at the menu will likely go for olives, linguine with prawns and an insalata mista. Won't do dessert.

Snacks: Handful blueberries and blackberries.

Drinks: Genmaichai green tea and home made kefir water throughout the day. Probably a 0% beer tonight.

OneTC · 30/01/2024 12:55

So far today I've had a pain au chocolate, a small cinnamon swirl and a small possibly apricot danish, coffee and cream and a couple of flat whites

I will eat some biscuits and probably go to spoons for dinner

Barbarachicken · 30/01/2024 13:29

B : Large slice sourdough toast with sweet & salty peanut butter & mashed banana

L : Homemade carrot & butternut squash soup

D : Chicken breast with ricotta & spinach topping, couscous & roast veg (tomatoes, courgette, red pepper, red onion)

Snacks : 2 x light babybel, 1 x chocolate chip cookie, handful jelly babies

Drinks: loads of builders tea, water & a diet coke

Thehonestbadger · 30/01/2024 13:33

Small Bowl of porridge with blueberries and banana
2.5 chocolate digestives
1 square of white chocolate

slice of toast
chocolate muffin
2 squares of white choc

toasted breadcake with banana

this covers (5am-1:30pm)

should also note I’m dairy and gluten free so most of the ‘bread’ listed here is smaller portions than regular

LenaLamont · 30/01/2024 13:36

Two poached eggs on one slice of wholemeal, and a glass of mixed fresh orange and grapefruit juice.

About to make myself a coffee. I put it off as late as I can each day as I can only drink one and I like to really savour it.

Scirocco · 30/01/2024 14:08

Breakfast was fruit with a small 'brownie' from yesterday's baking activity with DC (so reduced sugar and frankly homeopathic amounts of chocolate).

Lunch was a salad with vegan onion chutney (new recipe attempt, it was pretty good actually).

Dinner is going to either be Mexican-style chicken or lamb keema, depending on what the butcher recommends later this afternoon. Veg will depend on which option I pick - peppers and sweet potato with chicken, or peas and (hidden) tomatoes with lamb. Then we've got some apples and berries for dessert/snacks.

BouleDeSuif · 30/01/2024 14:14

Bread and honey for breakfast
Rice, beans, pickled beetroot and some cherry tomatoes for lunch
Dinner is going to be a cheese and almond omelette from a recipe I found in an old book. And a lemon yoghurt.

ChristmasTreeMagic · 30/01/2024 19:45

2 x weetabix, low fat milk, sprinkle brown sugar
Coffee with low fat milk
Half small glass fresh oj

1x cappuccino in work

Butternut squash soup with 2 x slices brown soda bread, 1 portion butter
Water

Aldi breaded haddock, steamed new potatoes, petit pois
1 x satsuma
Sparkling water with lemon x 2 glasses

Dweetfidilove · 30/01/2024 19:50

I’m seeing this on the right day. I’ve been good today, so can share.

Breakfast (more like brunch at midday) - smoked salmon and spinach omelette with a bagel and some freshly squeezed oj😋

Dinner - pasta with broccoli and shrimp in a tomato sauce.

Not enough water, especially given the seasoning content, so off to fix that before bed.

Sapphire387 · 30/01/2024 19:58

Two slices of wholemeal toast and peanut butter.

A nice burger and chips because DH and I treated ourselves at lunch. We had a day off today and walked for miles.

Vegetarian sausages, potatoes, salad and coleslaw.

Also a freshly squeezed lemonade, a hot chocolate, a decaf coffee and a few glasses of water.

I need to eat some fruit this evening.

wellitywellness · 31/01/2024 12:54

More of the same really - I do quite a bit of batch cooking, so things tend to switch up by week rather than by day (it's just me to cater for...).

Dinner: Homemade chickpea and cauliflower curry with bulgar wheat and topped with kefir, sumac and flaked almonds - plus my usual side salad of rocket, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, radish, sweetcorn, beetroot kim chi, home-grown broccoli sprouts and edamame beans, and topped with extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sumac, black pepper and mixed sesame seeds. Also a bite of turmeric root.

Dessert: 2 x squares 100% dark chocolate from Cocoa Runners.

Snacks: Handful blueberries and blackberries.

Drinks: Genmaichai green tea and home made kefir water throughout the day. One Goodrays CBD drink.

OneTC · 31/01/2024 14:13
