I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

Bitesize shredded wheat
Pomegranate
Bowl of soup
Apple
Natural yogurt and a few raspberries.

Will be having spaghetti bolognese later .

Scirocco · 31/01/2024 16:25

Fruit granola with yoghurt for breakfast.

Lunch was delicious - I'd picked up cheese at the farmers market yesterday, so had that with oatcakes, tomato salad and vegan onion chutney.

Tonight's dinner is either going to be a vegetarian chasni or homemade veggie flatbread 'pizza' - DC's going to choose and help me make it.

Seasaltsquall · 31/01/2024 16:36

Two slices of wholemeal toast and home made marmalade
Wholemeal roll with slow cooked beef and gravy with mustard and lettuce
Tea x 2 cups
Chorley cake
Dried baked cherries
Burnt tongue so now drinking iced Bailey’s coffee 😆

Twotwinpeaks · 31/01/2024 16:52

Breakfast: Porridge, skimmed milk, raspberries and blueberries, half teaspoon of peanut butter.

Lunch: Cottage Cheese, slice of pineapple, Ryvitas (4🤫) Tangerine. Mini fudge bar.

Dinner: Mexican spiced baked cod, cous cous and veg of some sort.

Juice, water, 3 skinny cappuccinos.

Snowdogsmitten · 31/01/2024 16:59

Today’s chow:

Bran flakes eaten hastily before school drop off
Tea with skimmed milk x 2
Cappuccino with skimmed milk
3 litres of water (not quite finished my massive bottle)

Green egg omelette and mackerel

Handful of almonds

Dinner will be a homemade wholemeal quesadilla with lots of veg in it.

Once the kids are in bed I’ll go out with all my lights on for a five miler. I hate running in the dark but it’s the only time, plus I’ll take all of the dogs.

Then I’ll have a nutri bulleted smoothie thing with protein powders and collagen

Boring for some maybe, but I love it and I like being fit and strong and in good shape.

Your day sounds brilliant @Snowdogsmitten !

It was a pretty restrained one seeing as I’m pre menstrual and have to mainline water to beat the sugar cravings!

BackPainMisery · 31/01/2024 19:02

Mate, that’s not the way to do it. Not sustainable for one thing, but you’ll make yourself ill.

Plan healthy meals consciously and stick to it. And start to move more. Move each day, even if it’s just walking 10,000 steps. It’s the only way to do it, safely and steadily.

Carsarelife · 31/01/2024 19:17

4 Crackers with Cheese
