I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

My diet was poor today.

One bacon sandwich for lunch.
One ham and pickle sandwich and a large handful of paprika max crisps at 10pm.
I'm under the weather and this isn't going to help.
Got lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, just need to eat them.

DilemmaDelilah · 28/01/2024 04:18

It's just after quarter past 4 in the morning. I woke up around 2am and couldn't get back to sleep, deciding at 3.45 that I was hungry! So, so far today I have had a cheese and honey sandwich and a cup of tea.

BouleDeSuif · 28/01/2024 11:12

So far, breakfast was a bagel and some veg soup

Lunch will be something little because dinner is roast chicken, roast veg, potatoes, carrots and sprouts, Yorkshire puddings, followed by trifle, and I'm very excited.

SkintNotPoor · 28/01/2024 15:55

Toast, poached egg and roasted tomatoes so far today. Plus coffee and a cup of tea. Just going to find something for a snack and drink.

Dinner is either salmon and roasted vegetables or cottage pie with leeks and cheese on the top. I'll let DC choose as I don't mind which.

AutumnCrow · 28/01/2024 16:37

Friday - a small cracker
Yesterday - a tomato sandwich
Today - nothing

Not a fancy diet. Just feeling like the leftovers of someone else's rotting corpse though.

Please prioritise yourself and your diet more than this. You are worth it and eating like this will make you feel worse.

Ah bless you. I know the logic of what you're saying in my head. It's what I'd say back to you in the same circs tbh. It's an autoimmune flareup. I'm taking vitamin supplements though and folic acid 5mg from GP.

Thanks to everyone who voted and shared, though I think it's obviously more than reasonable and should be a running thread forever more. Haha.
I loved reading everyones meals. There was a massive variation from those who seem to survive on tea and snacks, and those who seem like they need to take up a new job as a professional chef! It just goes to show how many ways there are to feed yourself. A long as your happy then that's all that counts!
Bon apetit Folks : )

2x triple chocolate Sainsbury's cookies (one for elevenses, the other for pudding just now).
Mussels in white wine and cream plus fries.

A cheeseboard for one for dinner and the leftover Pinot noir from my girls' night yesterday. A handful of grapes to try and ward off the gout that's clearly on the horizon.
Oh! Almost forgot the three or so mini cheddars my daughter shoved in my mouth earlier 😳

I'm following Whole 30 this month, so my day was:

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, sauted spinach, hot smoked salmon and fried plantain
Lunch: Hot smoked salmon, fermented carrots with dill and almonds, a satsuma
Dinner: Za'atar cauliflower with tahini (which was amazing!), fried courgettes and ghee mashed potatoes

Snacking on nut date balls, more almonds, drinking lots of black tea

I am very jealous of everybody's wine!

BobbyBiscuits · 28/01/2024 23:44

@Paw2024 Love that salad! Haloumi is the best, Is that chilli sauce I spy? (I love encona and sriracha) I had about half a block the other day with sundried tomatoes and crusty bread.

Glad to see we are still going!
