I love reading/ hearing about what people have eaten for some reason!
I like telling people what I have eaten too but often they think I'm weird, haha.

So, would you share what you had today and if it was good or bad? (Taste wise, not judging the health benefits)

Mine so far was...
Half a pack of cadbury mini eggs (omg sooo good! will finish them after dinner!)
4 quorn mini eggs (there's a theme here for some reason!)
3 x tea with 2 sugars and milk (twining english breakfast)- my new fave. PG have changed the recipe the bastards!
2 glasses white wine (yummm)
2 satsumas, one with too many pips (why everything is round shaped today?)
& and going to have quiche lorraine with potatoes and salad...(not my fave but my my nice fish is in the freezer and the quiche will go off tomorrow).

Come and share your day's meals with me : )
Or, think I am a weirdo for asking such things? ; /

Halloumi tabbouleh for brunch, orange and some olives at about 4 and then ramen at wagas for dinner (along with a spicy marg!). Yum 😋

Mnetcurious · 24/01/2024 23:26

Skipped breakfast (no time)
Coffee on arrival at work
Coffee mid morning and slice of colleague’s birthday cake
M&S smoky bean and egg pot for lunch
tomato pasta bake (homemade if it makes a difference- never use jars) and broccoli
Glass of rose and bag of crisps watching tv 😬

BobbyBiscuits · 24/01/2024 23:59

@BuffaloDance2000 The cherry bakewell scone, OMG that sounds amazing! I adore bakewell tart, my Irish auntie used to make that, also love scones. I tried to make them once and they were like rocks, haha : /

Have you fainted yet? 🤣

Made it home in time for emergency pizza!

Plinkplonkplink · 25/01/2024 05:10

I’m intermittent fasting and need to stop reading this thread! I’m now starving:
yesterday
banana, lentil rice cakes with low fat cheese spread, berries and yog, chicken drumsticks and salad for tea, handful nuts

SkinnyChaiLattePlease · 25/01/2024 09:51

Please can we carry this thread on through today?

I've just spent a happy half hour scrolling rather than working feeling hungry!

AhBiscuits · 25/01/2024 09:54

Breakfast - a chocolate flavour protein pudding and a slice of toast with soft cheese.

BobbyBiscuits · 25/01/2024 12:02

Happy to carry this on, I love it! Thanks everyone for sharing their food.

I've not had anything yet...but am meeting my mate at 1 so it's either the greasy spoon (sausage, mushrooms and chips) or the pub ( a pint!) lol..

Slightly gobsmacked at the diets on here 😂

User990 · 25/01/2024 13:13

Greek yoghurt with honey, kiwi, seeds mix
Coffee with milk
Ravioli with boursin cheese, cheddar and tomato
Protein brownie, carrots
Salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, jalapenos, cheddar, mayo, possibly red kidney beans)
Dark chocolate

Mauhea · 25/01/2024 13:17

So far:
Very small serving of choco-pillows with lots of milk
Most a lucozade sport raspberry
Carrot sticks and hummus
Salty tears because I cried over wanting McDonalds Hash Browns when I can't get to a McDonalds.

For those who hadn't already guessed - 10 weeks tomorrow and battling my morning sickness demons😅

AhBiscuits · 25/01/2024 13:19

Lunch: Same as yesterday, a ham and cheese sandwich and a Granny Smith.

MumOfTwoLittleOnes24 · 25/01/2024 13:52

Breakfast: porridge with almond milk and chia seeds, satsuma and blueberries. Coffee.

Lunch: roasted butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, puy lentils, feta, pomegranate seeds, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, radish and quickly made a grain mustard vinaigrette (Literally threw together random stuff I had left in the fridge as it was on the cusp of going off). Tasted nice (see pic).

Slightly gobsmacked at the diets on here 😂

Yes, it’s been quite a wild ride reading these. It seems to swing from insta-fabulous vibes (no clue how some of these can be kept up for more than a couple of days), to those being fuelled purely on sugar and coffee (I am sure we have all had at least one of those days in the past!).

also notice some people eating almost nothing, and those eating what I’d consider a reasonable amount of food suggesting that what they have eaten in a day is a lot!

OneTC · 25/01/2024 14:11

Something I ate yesterday must have been off because I was sick last night Sad

I'm blaming a sandwich

Today I'm eating nothing

NahHumBrag · 25/01/2024 14:18

B: small pot of zero fat Greek yoghurt, small banana and teaspoon of almond butter
Home made cappuccino with skinny oat milk.

Post gym: half a small banana and 3 Brazil nuts

L: (on the run) small box of sushi from Itsu.

D: (will be) salmon filet, roasted broccoli and cherry tomatoes, wilted spinach and asparagus.

Chai tea afterwards.

On 2nd litre of water…

BouleDeSuif · 25/01/2024 14:25

Bread and butter and tea for breakfast

Fried egg sandwich, instant borsch, half a tin of lychees with 1/4 tin custard for lunch

Dinner is going to be the coconut bean soup thing someone on here linked yesterday.

KreedKafer · 25/01/2024 14:29

Yesterday I was working from home and I had

Morning:
A banana

Lunchtime:
Three slices of wholemeal toast and butter with cottage cheese
An apple
A Penguin (the biscuit, obviously, not an actual flightless Antarctic bird)

Evening:
Pasta and a homemade spicy smoked tomato, pancetta and mushroom sauce, with parmesan

Throughout the day:
Eight mugs of tea with semi-skimmed milk
A can of Diet Coke

Today I'm in the office and so far I've had a banana, four mugs of tea, a cherry Pepsi Max, an M&S all-day breakfast sandwich, a kefir drink thing, and a bag of chocolate raisins.

Echobelly · 25/01/2024 14:30

I'm on a 500 calorie fast day, so so far:

Hard boiled egg

Green tea

Stick of celery

Apple

Turkey slice on a rice cake

Rest of the day will be:

A diet coke

Maybe a 50g slice of cucumber

Small Pack of pom bar or pop chips

Probably another green tea

Udon broth with vegetables and another hard boiled egg

Maybe a small piece of dark chocolate if I have enough calories left!

KreedKafer · 25/01/2024 14:48

Mumaway · 24/01/2024 21:53

I have had a slightly dodgy day. Flat white, bacon roll, mini green and blacks chocolate bar, then another one, cappuccino, sausage truffle mushroom pasta, small bucket of wine, coconut ice cream bar, 5 salt and vinegar crisps. Obviously nothing green.....

This sounds great to be fair

maybein2022 · 25/01/2024 14:49

Today:

A homemade blueberry and banana muffin (a healthier recipe, no white flour etc)

A bowl of homemade lentil and tomato soup, then a salmon fillet and homemade spicy ratatouille

Going to have some frozen pineapple shortly. Have also had a couple of cups of coffee with a bit of coconut sugar and skimmed milk.

Going out for a pizza tonight at an Italian restaurant- going to get the vegetable one I think.

BobbyBiscuits · 25/01/2024 15:23

@OneTC Your poor thing! Hope you feel better. Try some tea and dry toast maybe?
