No idea where this should go but ....

Aibu to think Chris Packham is just the most lovely human being , he's had laws enforced on killing birds for no reason , he's open about his Aspergers, he's a force for good in respect of all nature and I absolutely think he's fabulous. He's taken high court action against libel and won , he's just a lovely soul , a force for good in a world that cares very little for nature . I think he might be my hero . The dinner party guest is want to chat to .
I loved his earth series . It was exceptional.
And .....lastly
Animal experimentation is never going to work because they aren't human . I say this as a chronically ill person.

I love his passion in protecting animals from human harm while allowing them to be animals , predation , I love
Watching him on winter watch and spring watch and I genuinely think he deserves some recognition for his work .

He just seems to be an all round top
Bloke . Good on him .

No idea where this should go but ....

The bread thing doesn't work for me

My ex is a baker . Making a bread cake for 2 p that sells for a pound - nah . No sense in that . Only profit .

Farmers are greedy .

Greedy when they are making no money? Making less than an employed person on minimum wage most of the time? Donโ€™t believe this thing that all farmers are rich. Yes they might have big farmhouses some of the time, but they are probably tenant farmers. Generations of the family could have farmed the same land but not own it, that is not uncommon.

It's not really bizarre- it's logic based on the reasons it ok
To shoot animals that get in farmers way .

I deal with criminals that get in society's way .

No one has explained why shooting birds is ok .
For
Profit ???

That's not a reason . My line of work is criminal law . Can we shoot criminals to save money ? That would good .

No not just for profit. To make sure there is food and that the farmers donโ€™t go bust. Though the farming industry is so on its knees at the moment farmers are going bust anyway.

My son is diagnosed with Aspergers so I don't say asd .

Chris Packham is diagnosed with Aspergers.

Old school . My son has Aspergers . That's what he was diagnosed with. Why should I change that ? He's fine with his
Label . If
You aren't - tough .

Yeah I'm fine . Thank you . X I'm not on any meds at all . I have lots of very odd neurological symptoms presently including blindness, myoclonic jerking , falling over an awful lot , memory issues and list of other weird symptoms. I'm fine . Im waiting for a diagnosis. I think it's MS but in the event it's something more degenerative I have a very solid plan ! One I'm very happy with . Thanks for asking tho . X

Asperger's is no longer a diagnosis .. it hasn't been for nearly 10 years. If you're not a fan of animal testing then you should perhaps read up on Hans Asperger's experimental models and what happened to them

Aspergers is what my son's diagnosis is - can't just erase history.

History is history . Consigned to history. Doesn't make animal testing any more relevant now though.

If history is history then why refuse meds?! Your argument is flawed

When diagnosed I'll be going to
Dignitas if degenerative. Hope that's ok with you ๐Ÿ‘. I have the 10 k required and that's my choice.
