Child on trampoline in the rain

If you looked out of your window and saw the child next door to you, in the pouring rain, running in the garden and jumping on the trampoline, what would you think?

Completely fine obviously

JustTooDarnLoud · 18/01/2024 13:05

I’d think they were having fun.
My own DS loved being out in the rain, never felt the cold. I’d be stood in the door way trying to get him in/laughing at him having fun/taking photos.
He’d come in when he’d had enough/was too cold.

Nicknacky · 18/01/2024 13:05

I would think “oh that’s good, nice to see them getting fresh air and making the best of the weather”

What else is there to think?

WetBandits · 18/01/2024 13:05

That they were out having fun?

AwfullyWeeBillyBigchin · 18/01/2024 13:06

I would think "they look like they're having fun"

LuvSmallDogs · 18/01/2024 13:06

Not keen on wet trampolines due to it being easier to turn an ankle, but it's not my kid or my trampoline.

Tuelanak · 18/01/2024 13:06

They're making fun childhood memories
Leave them be

hauntedvagina · 18/01/2024 13:07

I'd think "ooo, it's raining".

Onceuponaheartache · 18/01/2024 13:08

That my dds trampoline needs a clean before I send her out.

Somethingsnappy · 18/01/2024 13:08

Is there a safety rule about wet trampolines?

useitorlose · 18/01/2024 13:09

DD used to fix the garden hose in the netting and jump to her heart's content while getting absolutely soaked, so I would see jumping in the rain as relatively normal!

LarkspurLane · 18/01/2024 13:09

Not just my child then. Unless you're my neighbour.

JenniferJupiterVenusandMars · 18/01/2024 13:09

That they’re having fun?
My DCs would go out in the garden, in the rain. without dissolving.
So long as it wasn’t torrential and they were dressed appropriately, what’s the problem?

GintyMcGinty · 18/01/2024 13:09

Tell us what you think @Thethingspeoplegetupto

Daffodilsandsunshine · 18/01/2024 13:10

That DC was having fun and I should mind my own business 🤔

LemonLight · 18/01/2024 13:10

I'd mind my own business 😂

ThreeTescoBags · 18/01/2024 13:10

I'd think 'ah a kindred spirit with my DD' even more so if there's a coat lying next to them that they are utterly refusing to put back on.

pinkyredrose · 18/01/2024 13:10

I'd mind my own business.

barkymcbark · 18/01/2024 13:10

If it was my dd she'd have been out there in her swimming costume bouncing away in -2 temperatures

Pochacco · 18/01/2024 13:11

I'd call 101 and log a job, obviously

Anjea · 18/01/2024 13:11

I'd think that kid really loves its trampoline.

My ds too (he's 16yo) although he'd be in shorts and maybe a tshirt.

EveryDayIsASchoolDayOnMN · 18/01/2024 13:11

My son (ADHD) was out in all weathers until he was about 14! I think he still would now but he feels too old.

It wont last forever, it is good for kids to be out getting exercise as long as they are wrapped up!
