AIBU - to think adults who get giddy about snow should grow up?

It causes disruption and travel problems. Nothing exciting about that. People miss crucial medical appointments for example. Don't whatever you do have a heart attack in a snow covered landscape.

On the other hand it looks cute out of the window.

I began to hate it when I was about 18 and looking back it coincided with travelling further afield and being able to drive.

What do you think?

Anyone got any? None here yet. Though I have tickets for a concert tonight and this is why I don't like it, all the worry about travel.

No just lots of frost where I am. Hope we don’t get any I hate it too!! Are you in London?

@QueenBean22 Midlands. It's when people are going,"woohoo it's snowing I'm so excited" when others are stressed out about travelling that I get irritated. I once had to drive down the coast road from Whitby in it and I was terrified, not excited at all!

i feel the same, I don’t like driving in it and walking when it turns to hard ice it’s awful.

so far so good here, no snow. (Northern England)

No snow here, unfortunately. Just heavy, relentless rain.

I've been terrified, utterly terrified, by travelling in the rain before. When I couldn't see what was in front of me.

Snow and ice -
Apart from the 1 time that DH slid on ice and all I could see was my head going towards a farm gate concrete pillar, But the slide stopped before that happened - TG.

I've driven in snow and ice - it's about taking it slow and steady.
