The abdominal surgery must have been pretty huge to expect a fortnight stay in hospital. I had a total gastrectomy and total vagotomy and only stayed ten days.

Oh stop it! Leave her alone, she doesn't
need your speculation!

She's in the royal family.... supported by taxpayers. 🥺 Of course there's speculation when one of them goes in hospital.

She lives off tax payers money, pays no tax and in a whole year does less than the standard full time employee does in a month!

You don’t stay in hospital for 10 days following a hysterectomy. I was in for four days after having an abdominal hysterectomy, in a private hospital, and I wouldn’t have actually wanted to stay any longer anyway.

You do in a lot of private hospitals. Thats nothing unusual. I did.

avocadotoaststoppedmebuyingahouse · 18/01/2024 17:05

The Royals have a history of staying in hospital less time than private patients normally do because they can get such good 1-1 medical care at home.

Its obvious she must be detoxing off hard drugs to be in for that long. I expect she’s managed to keep her addiction hidden thanks to all the cooks/nanny’s.

This is what sources are saying.

And I imagine the media interest and security arrangements associated with a royal patient are disruptive to the functioning of working hospitals, even private hospitals used to high profile patients.

@IcedPurple Exactly. It makes sense to get her home with a private nurse and Dr visiting as soon as possible.

avocadotoaststoppedmebuyingahouse · 18/01/2024 17:13

@user1477255159 It is to do the role Charles did when he was Prince Of Wales. Charles was very active in overseeing the Duchy. William is not interested.

People are chucked out too soon from NHS hospitals because their beds are desperately needed.
Rich folk in private facilities, not so much.

Wish her well.

I was in an nhs hospital for three weeks. One week to work out what was wrong with me then surgery then two weeks in hospital. Followed by three months off work.

Yes because cooks and nannies have long been proven to be perfect distractions for when one wants to indulge in hard drugs.

Gillypie23 · 18/01/2024 17:17

Least she's not on the NHS waiting list.

A tummy tuck?

There's speculation. Then there's stupidity.

Where exactly is this tummy that needs tucking?

Exactly. Besides I know at least 3 people who had a tummy tuck in the last year and they were all in hospital for 24/48 hours max.
