Personally I think he's great and he's clearly living his best life but the demographic of the crowd. Middle aged white men and women. The lack of diversity is quite shocking.

You do not know the background of every individual there.

the assumption that there is a lack of diversity because skin tone is similar. Fml.

I guarantee there will be lesbians and homosexual men, those with disabilities and hidden disability in that audience. Some will be working class, others middle and upper. Some will be mothers some won’t. Some will be care leavers, unpaid carers etc. some with parents from other countries. Some might even be mixed race with a lighter skin tone and you just dismissed them as ‘white’.

if you start and end at skin tone as the only signifier of diversity your idea of utopia is seriously fucked up.

FFS what do you want? Diversity quota for concerts? 'The concert is cancelled everyone, not enough brown and black people here '

DH is brown and managed to watch Rick Astley….although he is also middle aged so not sure which wins.

I recently went to a Sophie Ellis Bextor concert and I’d estimate the audience were 100% white middle aged people, I don’t think that’s on purpose, it’s just demographics.

I've been a fan since the 1980s but whilst I enjoy his music it's a bit meh these days. I love his collaborations with other artists though
