Anyone else dreading returning to work?

Had such a lovely time with my kids and husband and seeing family I absolute dread the return of everyday life. Working all day 5 days a week barely spending any decent time with my kids.

It’s even made me think about leaving my well paid corporate job and whether it’s even worth it anymore. I’ll never be rich anyway or well off enough to not worry.

What is the point in missing out on so much life for a bit of extra money.

Perhaps a bit insensitive to those who don’t have the option of not working? I’m sure they too would rather not miss out on their child’s life.

Hope everyone’s day has gone okay so far. And if not we’re past halfway through the day so home time soon!

Keep going not long to go. It’s been a quiet day in the office today which has been nice. It will be busier the rest of the week with meetings. I don’t even dislike my job and I still didn’t want to come back. I enjoyed being home with my kids for a week very much, being in our own bubble. I could happily fill my day with my hobbies and spending time with my kids but hey ho, needs must. I hope everyone who is back has had a good day.
