Just received a oodie dressing down, arrived late and what arrived was thin, creased, poor shape..i emailed weeks ago, no reply, other orders are outstanding, no idea when I'll receive them and now I have emailed customer service to request a return, they probably won't reply until the new year. I'm not joking or over exaggerating, this was supper to be buttery soft, thick and cost just like the hoodies. It was thin. I'm.juat ranting.

Do you mean you've bought a knock-off?

CornishPorsche · 12/12/2023 10:10

Doesn't sound like a legit one. I have the Oodie dressing gown in the Oodie size and it's spectacular.

RonObvious · 12/12/2023 10:12

I wonder if the company's struggling. Their sales seem to be more frequent and the price reductions more extreme at the moment. I ordered something recently too, and was surprised at the low quality, and the packaging (the package arrived torn and open). It was definitely a legit one.

Cheeesus · 12/12/2023 10:13

Where did you get it from? Does sound dodgy I’m afraid.

BigHairyJobby · 12/12/2023 10:18

They had a great Black Friday sale on, £39 Oodies, etc. But at the same time, there were rogue Facebook ads for £8.90 "Oodies". Looked like a legit ad but, if it seems too good to be true ...

ForevermoreAnxious · 12/12/2023 10:19

Panicking as I've ordered 2 from Amazon as Christmas gifts... Still not arrived

TurquoiseThings · 12/12/2023 10:27

DD has a genuine Oodie and I have a fake one from Amazon. They're both amazing!

MassageForLife · 12/12/2023 10:31

What website did you order it from? There are fake oodie websites.

Nuca · 12/12/2023 10:33

That doesn't sound anything like the oodie I've got. Mine is really thick heavy material and you can tell it's good quality. Was it ordered from the genuine oodie website?

ohdamnitjanet · 12/12/2023 10:34

I’ve ordered two as Christmas presents and I think they’re fab. Weigh a ton though, drying them will be a nightmare. I’ve seen a few fake sites, maybe you’ve been had.

existentialpain · 12/12/2023 10:36

Mine is thick warm and lovely. I bought through the oodie website

Ap24 · 12/12/2023 10:39

Mines very heavy weight and I can only wear it for a few months of the year due to getting far too hot. What you've received doesn't sound legit.

Saymyname28 · 12/12/2023 10:39

I agree I think you've been had. There's a few fake websites that are easy to fall onto. They're thick and heavy and are in good quality packaging too, the outer packaging is branded discretely and they're vacpacked.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 12/12/2023 10:41

I bought three oodies back in November, but still havnt been dispatched- nothing update while since 24th November.

OtherS · 12/12/2023 10:46

Bought standard hoodie back in November for £35, think it took about a week to arrive and is very thick and warm. Seems good quality too. Wish I'd bought one years ago, I barely have the heating on and I've not been cold at all this winter.

Cheeesus · 12/12/2023 10:47

Do you have the order confirmation email? What email address did it come from? Hover over it to see the actual email address.

MonsteraMama · 12/12/2023 10:49

It's been shipped direct from china? Think you've been had OP, my Oodie dressing gown is like wearing a warm cloud. It also came from within the UK via Royal Mail. Did you buy it on Wish or Temu or something?

bitofashit · 12/12/2023 10:51

Tesco do nice ones

wjpa · 12/12/2023 10:53

I bought an oodie last year for dd and it was horrible. The white stuff which is the lining choked me as I opened the package. When I washed the thing, the white lining went all over the washing machine. And it still choked me as I hung it up afterwards. We binned it. Couldn't see how to make any use of it without being choked by the white lining that just kept coming off into the air and onto anything it touched.

It was a minions one bought direct from oodie.

Never again!

shearwater2 · 12/12/2023 10:56

I don't think there is such a thing a real and knockoff for Oodies, and the product was around for years before it was called an Oodie. I got a really good quality one from a small British company on Not on the High Street years ago. I'd never heard of Oodies until this year.

Josette77 · 12/12/2023 10:59

Oodies don't come from China. I think you've been had.

They are super thick and fluffy.

There are real oodies. It's an actual company called Oodie who makes them to a really high quality that 'non oodies' can't match.

justteanbiscuits · 12/12/2023 11:02

Genuine Oodies are shipped from Australia - which is one reason their delivery takes so long.

Yes, but in my view the Oodie company has just jumped on the bandwagon of a product that already existed, and it is not in itself a reliable marker of quality.
