I've narrowed it down to The Only living Boy in New York by Simon and Garfunkel ( I'm obsessed with the weather forecast, only news I need)
And Raise Hell by Brandi Carlisle. Also something by Magnetic fields....Andrew in Drag probably not appropriate though...

Instrumental versions of Dr Dre & Tupac. Personally, I'd like the original versions but think they'd be frowned upon.

My girl...or
I can see clearly now the rain has gone.

Can't decide, I think the latter. It mentions a rainbow so that's enough for me.

I have a terminal illness and my kids will likely be teenagers when I die. I kind of feel like I'd like my husband to choose a song he wants and I'd like Three Little Birds by Bob Marley at the end. I don't want them to be sad and it's a song that I sing to myself quite frequently if I'm worrying about it all.

@SkyFullofStars1975 we had my MIL funeral this week and they played time to say goodbye. It was a very sad & poignant moment.
Going to her funeral has made me think about my song choices but they keep changing. At the moment it's

Titanium
Champagne Supernova
Zephyr Song
Gravity

This woman's work, Kate Bush, and I wish I knew how it would feel to be free by Nina Simone.

Women's work is mine too.

I would like to find a couple of songs that are not hymns but would be suitable for the congregation to sing together as a community - any ideas?
