I'd hope - as a Catholic - to have a requiem mass. Ideally, I'd have the whole of Fauré's requiem. Assuming that's possible, I'm only thinking of hymns and pro/recessional music:
Procession: Prelude on Rhosymedre (Vaughan Williams)
Hymns (there are normally four):
(In any order):
Come down, O love divine (compulsory);
And then any of:
Praise to the holiest in the height (ONLY TO THE TUNE CALLED GERONTIUS)
How great thou art
Lord of the dance
The king of love my shepherd is
Before the throne of God above
Drop, drop, slow tears
I heard the voice of Jesus say
How great thou art
Praise to the Lord, the almighty
Hail, queen of heaven
Follow me, follow me, leave your home and family
Genuinely don't mind which happens to be chosen - I love them all.
Recession: Toccata in 7, by John Rutter
Basically, nothing too sad - I'm going to see my God! - and nothing boring. Beyond that, my family can choose what they like. They've got my Spotify data anyway, so they'll find the stuff that I love!
