Did your shoe size change in pregnancy?!

Can’t decide whether or not to splurge on a nice pair of boots. They are £100 which isn’t money I’d spend lightly as I usually like my footwear to last for years

I have however heard that some people’s shoe sizes change in later stages of pregnancy and never go back! Did this happen for you?! I might be less inclined to purchase if so.

YABU - no, my shoe size stayed the same
YANBU - I went up by at least half a size!

I went up a shoe size or even two right at the end but it was because of swelling and slight weight gain. I returned to my usual size a few months after.

I went up one dress size too but that took longer to come off.

I went from size 5 to size 6

I went back to my pre-pregnancy weight in a fortnight but my feet remained half a size bigger. That was expensive!!

Yes! I've got 4 children but it only happened with baby #4. I went from a 5 to a 6

DS is 4 and it's only in the last few months that I think my shoe size has gone back to normal.

I went from a 5 to a 6 too - and my feet spread and got wider. Had to throw out a dozen pairs of shoes eventually :(

Went from a 5 to 5.5 with dc1, then 5.6 to a 6 with dc2. Never went back.

Mine actually shrunk

I have 4 children and my feet are now 2 sizes bigger. Some go up a full size with each child.

I went from a 5.5 to 6.5 and stayed at that size. I had to get rid of all my pre pregnancy shoes and boots, which still hurts!

I went from a 6 to a 7 with my first 3 years ago and im still fuming. Luckily they didn't go up again with my second a year later!!! 🤣

Mine didn’t go up in size but did get wider and never went back. 😭

I went up two sizes after two pregnancies but the kicker is they got a lot wider too. Can only order online now

I went from a size 5 to a size 10 with my second. Had to wear Velcro orthopaedic shoes from Asda for the last trimester. Took a month after having him for them to go back to a 5!
