Laurence Fox libel trial

Laurence Fox has been sued for libel by two people he described as paedophiles in a twitter spat. They described LF as racist. Trial began today, suing and counter-suing. Mr Fox arrived with his - written thus (daily mail) in single quotes - 'girlfriend'. Odd description.

I'm still scratching my head over how an overprivileged white bloke can suggest HE is the victim of racism and then start crying when it's pointed out to him that this on its own is racist. And don't get me started on Boris Johnson and his post box comment.

These are the sorts of attitudes exclusive public schools probably teach along with the three Rs, if you consider the shower they typically turn out. It's even more pathetic that these inadequates somehow find a fan base.

He's certainly a better actor than politician. Stick to what you know LF, then you won't need to use your Elite Thinking skills for anything other than speaking a script written for you. Much the best idea, it would improve your life immeasurably.

Laurence Fox's ongoing libel trial has thrown up a few interesting nuggets. Lozza's lawyers have been telling the court this week that offers for roles on prestige shows like Succession and Star Wars spin-off Obi-Wan dried up after he was branded a racist on Twitter.

I have no idea if any of that's true – but he's definitely had other job offers since. At the start of the year Lozza was in advanced talks to appear on Channel 4's Banged Up: Stars Behind Bars. He got dropped ahead of stepping foot in the jail though. Not because of any public perception of his character, but because he was a stubborn arsehole – making countless demands of producers and offering suggestions as to how they might water down the prison experience for him.

Still he's probably glad he didn't get that job now. Could have been quite embarrassing, given his last few months
