To think 60 is old

Especially for jobs in mental health requiring restraining etc.

OK.....

My dads 60 and is constantly saying that he is an old man now … all the time. But he looks after himself pretty well.

my response is always “not at all” - I don’t think he is old.

A close friend of mine is 70 and she’s always active and at the gym - I don’t see her as old at all!

sometimes at 30 we tell ourselves we are old - what we mean is older - because everyone changes, mindset changes and the body changes!

I think you are as old as you feel really.

YABVU. 60 is not old, not even close. It is middle aged. By the time I am 60 (I am 40 now) it will probably barely even seen as that.

There is a real shortage of trained staff working in mental health so it’s not an issue for this specifically I would say.
