Why hasn’t she been cancelled?

She arranged for the bodyguard to take a leave of absence the week before it happened, with him scheduled to return on December 9th, the day after John was shot. That’s … deeply suspicious. She was having an affair with an art dealer who had been implicated in the murder of another wealthy widow. She changed John’s will and named the art dealer in it. She moved her other lover into the Dakota the very night John was killed. These things actually happened and I find them troubling to say the least.

I really wish her fuck-awful caterwauling could be cancelled out of the beginning of Merry Christmas War Is Over which we all have to endure annually. Fuck me, that woman could not sing.

Interesting thread, but this comment is mad. John Lennon was the equivalent of a billionaire in today’s money. He wasn’t just some bloke, he was one of the biggest - if not the biggest - commodities in the world. It really isn’t the same as your mum and dad, unless your mum and dad were Paul and Linda or something.

Also, it absolutely was sexual harassment and May Pang should sue the Lennon estate for every penny she can squeeze out of them. It’s about time Yoko Ono got some sort of comeuppance for her shitty behaviour. 50 years too late, but better late than never.

What difference does her being a billionaire got to do with anything. You have a really big chip on your shoulder called jealousy. Would you be this outspoken about anyone else without billions…. Probably not. Not sure I would have wanted her life. How do you know she sexually harassed a 21 yr old anymore than your Dad or mom did back in the day. You need proof apart from the daily mail.

May Pang wrote a book about her time working for the Lennons. It was published in the mid-80s, I don’t know whether it’s still in print. Probably not, as he was a lot more abusive than she claims in this article and the book doesn’t pull any punches - it describes every episode where Lennon lost control and had his hands around her neck. She was very lucky he didn’t kill her. Harry Nilsson had to pull him off at least twice.

As far as this being a story made up to slander Yoko Ono, that’s nonsense. Even John went on record to say that Yoko had fixed it for May Pang to be his girlfriend.
