@Catpuss66 - That John Lennon ceded his life to Yoko Ono isn’t something that’s debatable. To what extent he did so willingly, is. He wasn’t a functional or mentally-well adult, but that doesn’t explain why he abandoned his own agency in the way he did and gave Yoko a power of attorney that relinquished control of his life (including his finances, image and will) to her. For me, at least, it’s extremely telling that he only felt able to challenge Yoko in public when her hangers-on (who practiced hypnotism and Santeria witchcraft) weren’t around. Yes, he did it by publicly humiliating her, but should we view it as a moral failing on his part or as a cry for help?
