Gym response to being flashed in ladies changing room?

A male entered the female changing room and flashed at me late last Saturday night. I was alone and naked. I reported to the gym who have said that they checked the cameras three times and can’t see a male entering. It must be on there somewhere it happened, I’m raging about it and the response. I want him identified so I can report to police.

Many countries have the death penalty as retribution. That is acceptable to them. And I'm not talking Iran or Saudi either, but the USA.....plus there are many people who want it brought back in the UK.

Remember, what's acceptable for some, isn't for others. Leave people to their own opinions, even if you don't agree.

I was wondering how long it would be until someone championed the death penalty. There are VERY few democracies who still have it. There is a reason for that. It belongs back in the dark ages with a number of posters on this thread.

Report it asap the gym has to have a record of all the males that were in the gym at the time.

I don't agree with the death penalty...you know why? not because people who take lives don't deserve to die..but if you get it wrong you cannot take it back..a person who is potentially innocent has more value than an openly guilty person..

Yes. Countries which are not civilised have the death penalty. People who endorse violent retribution outwith the framework of the law are thugs. Not that it's relevant to the OP's distress so I won't derail any further.

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about being flashed, but the fact that he entered the women's changing rooms is another level. Yes, report it to the police, it seems the gym don't actually care.

I agree. I'm not in the UK but there have been cases here where someone has been jailed for years for murder, only for them to be found innocent several years/decades later.

Also, if it's wrong to kill - which it is obviously is - then how can a punishment of killing another person be right?

@Loubelle70 you need to report your 'partner' to the police. Your girl will grow up to be as awful as yourselves if you don't address how you reacted.

She'll probably be punching people in the high street and spitting on them, creating the next generation of violence.

What a rubbish response from the gym. I do hope you go to the police op. I can totally understand why you were ok on Sunday and fuming the next day. It takes time to process the effects when you have been subject to any violation.

Yep thinking of that Met police officer who killed that young woman who was walking back from a vigil and pretended he was on duty. He had flashed before and done other things before but nothing was done about it

Report to the police asap, if they have camera footage of the changing rooms how can he not be shown on there? And why are the gym covering it up?

I thought this until it happened to me and I was rooted to the spot. I thought he was going to rape me. My baby was in her cot. The person who flashed me was a delivery driver from Currys.

I totally agree with others about flashing being far from benign. Wayne Couzens was flashing some time before he escalated his offences.

Also, David Lloyd have been named on previous threads as showing blatant disregard for female members. Shame on them.

Report it to the police. This is how these rapists and murderers start out. That met policeman Wayne Cousins had flashed at somebody. It was reported to the police but not followed up.

Definitely call the police. Similar happened to my sister years ago and they told her it was the right thing to do as this is often the first thing that people who go on to commit rapes and paedophilia will do. The more the police have on record about these people the more you may help the next person that encounters him. They're hoping for your silence, they're building up bravery for their next act. Sorry you had to go through that.
