Because I have cut my thumb, opening some catfood, and it really, really, really hurts

I think I can manage without going to the emergency department though, but I am going to moan for quite a long time 😁

Our brand new garage door acquired a dent 2 weeks later. No, it wasn't driven into. I've been through every possible scenario and still no idea. Was quoted £500 to sort it so that won't be happening. So annoying though.

My wallets too small for my 50s and my diamond shoes are too tight! Chandler Bing to Ross ..(RIP MP)
Sorry couldn't resist 😜
Trying to think of a problem.. and..I have it!
I have booked 2 Christmas delivery slots with 2 supermarkets.. don't know which one to keep🙈
Waitrose doesn't have everything I want BUT although Sainsbury's does.. I prefer the choices at Waitrose.
Cringing with shame..either choice means I will have to go to the shops myself on Christmas Eve.. and I had planned to get drunk on Bailey's and Vodka..

Do both and swap it round?

Etsy Australia in my case - thanks for the tip about filtering for handmade. (I saw some lovely designs by a UK maker in a general image search, but £35 translates to $66 and that's before shipping! 😱)

Hello, fellow Australian!

I have sometimes seen lovely things on Etsy that I consider buying for my Australian nieces and nephews for Christmas - until I realise they are coming from Australia! It seems a bit silly to have them shipped here, for me to gift wrap them and ship them back there! (I guess that’s my first world problem.)

@HardcoreLadyType

G'day! 😄

what about having them shipped direct to the person in aus closer to the time with a note on who and why they are for ?

I made ratatouille for dinner, but I ate all the mozzarella I was going to add to it whilst it was cooking in the saucepan, so I added cheddar instead. Which then led to complaints that dc prefer mozzarella and that they saw a pack of mozzarella in the fridge. So I thought about denying it but had to admit to eating a whole ball of mozzarella.

Edited

I have done similar to this with some gifts. I bought an insect hotel for my mother’s garden - I thought one bought in Australia would be more suitable for Australian insects. And my mother would be okay with it being sent direct, and not put under the tree.

But for children it’s nicer for them to be able to unwrap a present from under the tree.

i can agree with that, its a good point, maybe the parents could wrap them in advance ?

@coldcallerbaiter I have an ex who would eat a whole ball of mozzarella like an apple, just taking bites out of it, as a snack. Nothing to be ashamed of, it’s delicious!

I have to wait until the end of the week to get new flooring fitted so I'm walking about on very cushioned underlay.
