Because I have cut my thumb, opening some catfood, and it really, really, really hurts

I think I can manage without going to the emergency department though, but I am going to moan for quite a long time 😁

I'm on a very nice mini break and have used the log burner and now I'm too hot and my rosacea has flared up.

hookiewookie29 · 04/11/2023 18:25

I haven't got enough Boursin to go on my crackers! Dairylea is not the same!

BlackberrySky · 04/11/2023 18:38

The time slot I wanted for the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam has sold out, so I will have to get up earlier as they only have first thing in the morning available.

Still hungover from fun dinner with one set of friends last night but have guests arriving for dinner tonight. Trying to decide whether to do 'hair of the dog', or... actually DH just poured me a sherry so there we are.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 04/11/2023 18:47

Dh went to collect a takeaway curry but it’s busy, he’s been gone ages and im
hungry.

And my heated blanket has made me too hot🤣

ismu · 04/11/2023 18:49

Alan Carr is the only thing on TV

60sbird · 04/11/2023 19:05

Off course he can’t

I bought a particular pink gin as part of my online shopping and it was out of stock. Was not paying over £26 for run of the mill Gordon's. How had the price gone up so much?!

neverbeenskiing · 04/11/2023 19:24

My favourite MAC lipstick is running out, I can't find it anywhere so I think it must have been discontinued.

bippityboppity87 · 04/11/2023 19:26

Also put too much line cordial in my gin and now it's too sweet

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 04/11/2023 19:39

Mine is ridiculous. The mcdonalds I drive past when travelling a 160 mile round trip to take my teen DD to her flying lessons is closed. No egg mcmuffin for me, to soften the blow of the cost of said lessons.....

HP89 · 04/11/2023 20:14

Had to wash pigeon blood and feathers out of the grill of my convertible today. .. sigh….

IHavetoadmit · 04/11/2023 20:46

The supermarket substituted my rhubarb pie for an apple but didnt put it into the system so I have only found out when I went for it for pud tonight.

I am in a hotel I've just got into bed. One pillow isn't enough and two pillows is too much.

Oh my god, I have this problem whenever I'm away from home. At home I have 2 thin pillows which are just right, but in hotels I always end up using one pillow and putting a jumper or something underneath it.

coldcallerbaiter · 04/11/2023 21:31

I worry about my stacks of money in the bank.

coldcallerbaiter · 04/11/2023 21:35

I did not buy treats as I am trying not to eat bad stuff/sugar.

so now I am in front of a film eating cranberry sauce from a jar with a tablespoon that was bought for Xmas.

PictureOfFlorianTray · 04/11/2023 21:43

My dahlia tubers are rotting. I don't have a greenhouse to overwinter them.

Chromium24 · 04/11/2023 21:49

why do some posters are against ai writing software if the person is using the software to correct their spelling and writing skills ?

i understand if they just post x information that is not answering the op, then i can understand peoples frustrations, but if they use the program to write x information and it does answer the ops question then why do people prefer the human written response even if the objective is the same eg answering the ops question ?

I can’t find the belt for my dressing gown. It really annoys me

😂😂😂

I’m going away for the weekend tomorrow and the leather jacket I want to wear in the evening will make my bag too heavy to carry round till we can check into the hotel.

Most hotels will allow you to leave your bags with them early before you check in. 😊

CeciledeVolangesdeNouveau · 04/11/2023 21:58

My bed is an IKEA single and about 25 years old. My boyfriend and I can’t nap or chill out watching iplayer on my laptop without falling to the floor as our combined weight is 24 stone :(

whatkatydid2013 · 04/11/2023 22:03

Got a connection where I got a trip to the nice Air France lounge in Paris and the Clarins Spa was closed. Can’t get much more of a first world problem than that 😂

Lemsipper · 03/11/2023 23:01

Goodness! Are we still using the term “first world”

Gosh! I agree, it really is annoying isn't it? Maybe your "first world problem" is the fact that people are still using the term "first world problem" on Mumsnet! I don't know how you cope! There's always one on every lighthearted thread!😂😂😂

I’m impatient waiting for 1st Dec to start opening my Liberty advent calendar.
