AIBU to feel annoyed Marks and Spencer have.....

changed their knicker styles? The style I have bought for years no longer exists. Have bought underwear from M&S forever, but have had to shop elsewhere.
Very disappointed!

I used to love the individual knickers you could buy in M&S, usually about a fiver a pair but you could get 4 for 3 and they were in great colours and styles. Now the individual pairs are really basic and flimsy and the only other option is a pack of knickers. I hate buying in packs, I like to choose each pair and get different colours. Packs always sneak basic white pairs in which turn grey first wash.

however I do approve of the new coffee machines, much quicker to press a button than faff around with frothing the milk, grinding the beans etc. Costa should take note.

I bought my DM some boy shorts from M&S the year before covid and she wasn’t overly impressed by them.

They have got rid of the midi briefs (which were halfway between high rise granny pants and bikini). They seem to have replaced them with shorts style briefs which are far too flappy around the leg!

I haven’t been in for years but wanted the mini meals today, so I asked one of the (very few) staff members who said she had no idea and didn’t have her glasses on! She did, to her credit, find them.

The buggers have stopped selling ANY kind of Prawn Cocktail crisps, be it skips kind or the regular potato type.. i have been looking for months in so many London Foodhalls to no avail.

That said I would be very happy if they discontinued the Percy pig biscuits that I have a really bad addiction to…My diet is not going as well as it should because of Percy 😩

I don't know why M&S change popular styles. It is infuriating.
They're not the only ones. Rohan changed the very useful zipped hidden pocket in their travel trousers. Always kept my essential medication, key & a credit card tucked safely away. Now the pocket barely fits a single card.
When I mentioned my disappointment in a review, I was moderated, ie my review removed, because "It isn't the sort of helpful review we want buyers to read.:
Shop staff agreed there had been many complaints.
So customers can let retailers know what they want, but expect to be ignored!

@MrShady they were fabulous high waist Brazilians. I have a couple of new pairs left. The new range are thrushtastic polyester.

I got a bit cross in the M and S knicker section only the other week, but it was more about sizes than styles. I’d already put up with scouring the store in general to find probably only 5% of the stuff in my size, and stayed fairly calm, but when I got to the pissing pants and found they too did not have my size I got a little annoyed. A customer next to me was rummaging in a pack of pants and muttering ‘this is awful’ so I vented a bit with ‘I know! I mean they’re pants. We all wear them why can’t they have all sizes?’ I then realised she was actually a member of staff complaining about the mess customers had left, and I hadn’t realised because she was wearing jeans as they seem to have also abolished uniform.

I was unimpressed all round.

They’ve changed the name of them to high rise Shorts instead of MIDI as I ask a member of Staff about this!

The lace is so soft and they're really flattering on the bum too

WHY do they fiddle with something which is obviously going to be a staple for so many people? I loved the midi in modal. The ‘shorts’ look like a completely different shape in the crotch to me. Also still missing the jelly mocktail sweets they did some years ago, then discontinued. 🙄

I was in a while back and they have chnaged the names of all their briefs. They had a chart on the wall. You may find they have been renamed something else
