To think this card is inappropriate?

Saw this in a supermarket the other day. I find it very distasteful and almost upsetting. Surely if we're condemning sexual violence, we're condemning all sexual violence? Rape jokes are not acceptable, so why is a card joking about serious sexual assault OK?

To think this card is inappropriate?

I understand that! But just because this particular card is a made up scenario doesn't mean that sexual assault as a whole doesn't happen.

Because I wanted to ask my husband whether he agreed that it was offensive. (I didn't say it upsets me so much, just that I found it almost upsetting). Instead I made the mistake of posting about it on AIBU... I am happy to accept that most people disagree with me and see that I maybe took it a bit too seriously, but I don't see the need for people to be rude and belittling/ insulting (not you, but other posters)

I wasn't looking for anything to be offended about. I came across this card and was offended. Just because you aren't, doesn't mean that I've got nothing better to do in my life. I have, which is why I only posted about it at a time where I didn't have other, more pressing things to do.
