As I've said upthread, I don't have an issue with these leggings and actually think they look nice sometimes.

BUT I did see a woman in a pair of leggings (not scrunch bum) and I could see her actual clitoral hood outlined through the front. I think it was a bad combo of the particular legging fabric, her specific anatomy and the fact that she was very slender with no fat on her pubic mound (and I'm assuming an all-off bikini wax). That did make my eyes pop out!

It was made worse by the fact her crotch was at my eye level due to her coming down some steps I was going up.

I have an urge to pick them from the wearer's crack. But I resist because I don't want to end up on a register.

I think the shaming is very much directed at the leggings.

I had to Google what they are. Hideous. Don't understand why anyone would pay money for them.

I have lots of pairs of these. One of the pairs is also beige, which I'm sure you'll also shudder at the thought of!

I wear them for the gym because I think they look good, I'm body confident, and when I feel like I look good I'm more productive at the gym. They don't make me feel any more 'exposed' than normal leggings. If anything they're more comfortable than normal leggings for squatting, because they don't bunch up/have to stretch as much in awkward places. They don't make my ass any more sweaty.

I also only ever wear thongs so maybe I'm used to the sensation

There are plenty of things I see on a daily basis that I think are hideous. I'm 27, and have plenty friends who also wear them - it's a generational thing. What's the need for the judgement? We all have different tastes - be a boring world if we didn't! 🤷🏼‍♀️

No. What's needed is taste-shaming. Body-shaming refers to the bum under the hideous leggings and no one's bum should be shamed.
