Leotards and obscene sexualised women and girls clothes are so disgusting.
Gyms are full of those. Meanwhile, guys and boys in comfy weather appropriate clothes.

It's just the same with ordinary leggings worn with a short top.
Unless you are a gym babe and are less than a size 6 your bum will undulate and ripple and show off all your cellulite like a rancid lava lamp.

I really hate both these and the current trend for thin cycling shorts. I mostly see beautiful young things in them which makes this horrendous fashion easier to bear but I would far rather see teens in the brightly coloured leggings and baggy sweatshirts of my own teen years.

I bought a cheapy pair off Amazon. (Blows own trumpet...) I have a great arse, thought I could really pull them off.

Put them on. My dear god. DH fell about.

Later that evening, he gets the giggles again. "Where's those cats arse trousers? Go on, put them on again, pucker pucker pucker!" (now crying with laughter at the thought of how they looked) "pleeeeeeease, just put them on, once more"

In the bin they went.

I just googled them and can't see how they are different from normal leggings. There are a few pairs that are a bit ruched around the seam at the back - a bit weird, but most are just leggings. What am I missing? Can someone link?

The word hideous springs to mind. I would also question how hygienic the 'right up the bum' look is as they day progresses, not matter how clean you start out earlier in the day.

Genet, they are meant to be like gym wear , but the type that shows of your very well toned bum. Some women like them, I don't.

I always think it looks like they are being sucked into a giant vortex that is where the bumhole should be.

They also look they would be super annoying to sit on, on gym machines for example, which is what they are meant for.

The flesh coloured ones are comedy level awful. Black doesn't look too bad.

Call me a prude but search algorithms are on my side - pink/tan colored ones are explicit verging on anatomical…. That’s what the google search returns, an explicit content warning (for leggings photo).

They tend to be thicker than normal leggins and normal leggins very often lose shape at the knee and bum so add some wrinkles and sag that werent there before.

I dont own any. Im middle aged and hide my body away.

If your ordinary leggings look like this, you're wearing them wrong.

The woman that stands in front of me at yoga wears them sometimes and I CANT STOP LOOKING AT HER BUM. Its phenomenal.

I would definitely not look like her in them.
