I'd never wear them but I don't mind the normal cycling shorts/ active wear shorts and leggings. Not the scrunch bum ones! However I don't like the trend for wearing cropped or normal tops etc with them when everything's moulded to your bottom half, no one wants to see your camel toe/ hoof etc

It’s fair enough if you don’t like them, there are many items of clothes that I don’t like.

But some of these replies are very rude and judgemental about the people wearing them.

We used to call anything that went into your crack 'Hungry arse' clothes. These fit that description perfectly.

On a side (thong) note- I used to do karate with a girl who proudly admitted that she only ever wore thongs. When you consider the amount of stretching, kicking etc and add in the heavyweight fabric of a gi, it used to make me wince and wonder just how far up she wanted to floss...

Not in my gym, these monstrosities are definitely in the minority. They are usually worn by those who use the stairmaster.

Maybe all very well at the gym - I’ve only seen them (flesh coloured) at the bus stop.

Don't normally stick up for men, but tbh, I can't think of many that would agree to wear something so ridiculous, naked and uncomfortable looking.

Also, I wouldn’t really be happy with my DS essentially going out in his trunks, so those shorts all the teen girls are wearing are crazy. Like it’s not a sexist thing for me, I just don’t want to see two half-arse-cheeks belong to either sex when I’m running errands!

It does slightly worry me that there’s not much further to go. What exactly is next, surely not just wandering around in pants (please god no).

The young women in my gym look good in them.

I saw a woman the other day who had the biggest (fake) lips I had ever seen. The poor girl honestly looked cartoonish. The rest of her was very skinny, arms, legs, torso, and she had a delicate little face. She would have been so much prettier had she left herself alone! I know, I know, her choice, don't judge, but I did think it was a bit grotesque.

I’m surprised no one has yet said that women should be allowed to wear whatever they want and that they are not responsible for how men view them.

Women can actually go out and buy comfy, weather appropriate clothing if they want to but many choose not to. Men are not buy them. Women are. Detested thongs when i was young just don't get them and they are hideously uncomfortable, I'd rather go commando than wear them! Hideous scrunch bum leggings are just the next step. Shudder.
