Most unusual Christmas present request?

what’s the most unusual Christmas present your DC have asked for?
my DD asked for a purple dinosaur that goes in the bath when she was two but no dinosaur we casually showed her was the one she was talking about. Eventually found one in the pound shop which was the one she had meant apparently!
this year she has asked for a typewriter?!

Paperclips........because he liked clipping them all together, found big tub of multicoloured ones = happy as larry😍

We lived in a flat above a shop at the time, "that's no problem Mum, I'll leave it in the car park"

My dd is 7 and has asked for a bike (grandparents job) and a sloth.
The sloth is proving elusive as I've asked if she would like to sponsor a sloth or a toy sloth but no, an actual real life sloth that she can keep and pet.
We have a cat so not sure how the cat will get on with the sloth or where to keep a sloth.

DD once wrote to Father Christmas asking for a swimming pool and a football.

Dd 5 has requested a little piece of the moon and a marble, ds almost 4 has asked for a doughnut and a apple this year 😂

She was really testing us that year.

His own roll of sellotape (he likes to just scrunch strips up and play with them and I was fed up of him always wasting the household roll I use for gift wrapping etc).

mine would be for £500,000 its unusual as i dont know anyone that can give that amount as a gift

A tarpaulin and a length of rope. Father Christmas delivered.

At age 3, at 3pm on Christmas Eve: a clock. Thank goodness for Argos.

A doll the same size as dd7 so she could dress her doll in her clothes and they'd be twins 😃

The eldest asked for an en-suite Sure kid we’ll just pop an extension on the house for ya.

Nephew always has random requests. One year I bought him a harmonica, a magnifying glass and a hi viz jacket.

My Dc have a high vis jacket and it’s a popular toy still. Especially after britains got talent this year!

I get excited by post in notes 😂 maybe I should ask for some this year! (I’m a Primary Teacher)

DS1 - a three piece suit
DS2 - a single mitten (he'd lost one from his set of mittens and assumed we'd be able to buy a spare single one to replace it)

One year my son asked for a jar of pickled gherkins. Many years later, I still take him a jar of pickles when I visit him.

Eldest son asked for an electric toothbrush when he was about seven. I lovingly bought one, and he was seriously underwhelmed, and over 20 years later still reminds me that once I bought him an electric toothbrush for Christmas - as if it was some form of abuse.... 😂 🤣

I wanted one of those in the '70's. Didn't get one. I'm still not over it.

Shaped post it notes are the best! (Also a teacher). I’ve converted everyone in my department to the pink fun bic pens for marking, my head of department bought them for everyone. I’m kind of annoyed, that’s my signature!

DS2 wanted mason jars one Christmas. All different sizes to keep his various collections in!

My son loves the sound of Caribbean steel
pans and wanted a full set for Christmas a few years back.

Not my DC, but when I was 2 I asked my parents for a puddle for Christmas 😁

DD7 asked for an electric toothbrush from age 3 or so. She finally got one last Christmas and happily told everybody it was her best Christmas present for months afterwards 🤔 She still loves it to the extent that I have to get one for DS this year (I think he'll be more like your DS!)
