DH (male) and I (female) were having a jokey discussion last night and I asked him if he’d leave me if I grew a penis… He said he would, although we could stay friends..

AIBU to be a bit annoyed that He’d leave me in this hypothetical situation?!

Why ask a question, any question at all, if you have already decided on the only acceptable answer?

Just asked my husband if he'd leave me if I grew one overnight. His answer was "where though?" 🤔🤣

Clarified that it would grow in a standard place, and he was like "Oh! Ermmm... no I don't think so, you'd still be you"

Assuming if I'd have said on my face, he'd have given a different answer going by his initial reaction 🤣

We always ask each other ridiculous "what if" questions like this though so I wouldn't have thought he was BU had he have said yes.

If you grew your own would you be able to bend it round and have sex with yourself? Then you wouldn’t need him anymore anyway!

Is he competitive? He might just be frightened of you ending up with a better one

A friend of mine, who's brother transitioned, his partner did similar. She doesn't regard herself as a lesbian or bi and doesn't imagine dating women if they ever ended their relationship

TBH, if he had said he'd stay with you if you did have a penis, I'd be more worried that he secretly was into guys...

If my dh grew a vagina in his sleep and his penis shrivelled up and fell off I'd still stay with him out of love but I'd have a sexless marriage so I'd be married just complete companionship with someone I love.
I couldn't leave him though especially knowing he would be all alone forever trapped inside a penisless body. I'd feel too sorry for him.

I just asked DH. After a moment of confusion and a face being pulled, he said he'd work around it 😍😍😍

Adults watch all kinds of unbelievable tv/film, read books and comics, dress up and roleplay and do computer games ... but this is a step too far?🤔

Have to say I don’t need to ask dh… if he could see a penis on me, his own would shrink up and possibly fall off… he’s not homophobic, he just really loves the female form (not complaining 😂) So even though I could make millions as ‘the woman who grew a dick’ I’d have to get it chopped off and donated to medical science (although I’d have a play first, because… well wouldn’t we all!)

If I had a penis, DH would stay with me, as he is bisexual.

It's entirely down to your sexual orientation, and is entirely reasonable to not be attracted to both genders.
