Why do they irrationally annoy me? Is it anyone else?

The ones who made those comments and others, yes they were they even said as such. You appear to have way too much time on your hands and taken my comment based on my interactions with several past threads personally. That was also only one sentence in my previous comment which was saying how odd I find those comments, they have a malicious meaning behind them towards mothers, parents but mostly mothers and it's coming from other women. Typical mumsnet pp jumping on one point with no point or input themselves. Boring.

Given that we've worked out that a Baby on Board sign has no useful meaning (no it doesn't mean the emergency services will look for a baby, no it definitely shouldn't mean the driver is completely preoccupied with something else so everyone else should assume they will drive like a twat and give them free reign, no it doesn't mean don't park next to this car, no it doesn't mean don't ram me up the backside) then it holds the same sway as any of the following signs someone may choose to stick on their car:
Degree holder on board
Rich person on board
Homeowner on board
Dog on board
Wedding cake in transport
Newlyweds on board
We holiday on cruise ships
Church goer on board
Penis in transport
A is CEO driving this car!

Oddly enough people don't as it would be seen as ridiculous. In which case its just the occupant thinking that this makes them somehow superior to other road users. Meaningless 'boasting' about things that are in consequential to 99.9% of others. Some people can't bear the anonymity of a car and must be 'looked at' as the material owner of something or as someone who must be considered a superior road user.
