Do most grown men know how to wipe properly?

I swear I’m not a poo troll, I don’t post often but this is really irking me!!! My partner often leaves “marks” on the sheets, even towels after he’s had a bath. He just went to the bathroom whilst I was in the bath (issue in itself) and he wiped once, put the paper straight in the toilet, wiped a second time- straight down the toilet. Was about to pull his pants up when I lost it!! I asked how he knows it clean!!!??? We’ve had this conversation before due to marks left etc! He sighed and said he’s a man! Sat back down and wiped and looked at the paper, 4 more times until it was clean! This is a deal breaker for me now! I seriously cannot be with a grown man who can’t wipe his own backside properly!!! Tell me this isn’t normal and is not a “man” thing? I have two adult boys, I taught them both how to wipe as part of toilet training so what the hell is wrong with him?!!

🤐😱

margotrose · 13/10/2023 18:58

How are you sharing a bed with a man who can't even wipe his shitty arse properly?

Eurgh.

Pertangyangkipperbang · 13/10/2023 18:59

Most UK households don't have bidets.. surely you've been taught to wash your bottom after a poo and a wipe? ( yes you can't in public toilets) but myself and family have always had a wash after a poo to feel and be clean.

Queenofmews · 13/10/2023 18:59

I had a boyfriend who had a poo whilst I was in the bath. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever witnessed and I never shagged him again
As regards the poo wiping situation I would tell him to mend his ways and get some most toilet wipes too

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 13/10/2023 19:00

Does he not stink?!! I hope you haven't found out up close and personal... 😷

BearFacedCheekGrylls · 13/10/2023 19:03

I had an ex with Klinkers

apparently it was hard to wipe properly. His words.

midmodmad · 13/10/2023 19:03

You can't get properly clean with just dry loo paper. Perhaps you could buy some of those wet loo wipes ? Shouldn't have to I know...

Two things.....

I hope you make him shower thoroughly before any intimate act if he's got poo bits floating about his pants.

Second....stuff like this always reminds me of that episode of Embarrassing Bodies where the guy often smelt of poo and the did loads of medical tests and the conclusion at the end was that MAYBE HE SHOULD REVISIT HIS WIPING TECHNIQUE!!!!! Bleurgh!!!!!

😮😮😱

renata2485 · 13/10/2023 19:07

How on earth have you had two children with him, if this has been an ongoing issue? 🤢

NotObligedToArgueWithStrangers · 13/10/2023 19:08

Pump dispenser of aloe Vera next to the toilet, tell the dirty bastard to use it. If you got dog shit on your hands, you wouldn't clean it off with just dry tissue. Why do we think it'll work on a hairy arsehole?

EveryOtherNameTaken · 13/10/2023 19:10

Just nasty.
Sitting and shitting while you're in the bath is hideous but not even bothering to look if he's clean. Not that hard surely. Lazy.
As for skid marks on the bed 🤢
Glad my dp isn't that 'manly'

Maybe get your sons to teach him .....

BreatheAndFocus · 13/10/2023 19:11

He’s a man, he said - ie he never has to sort through washing filled with shitty pants, i bet? That’s why he doesn’t care. It doesn’t impact him in the slightest.

He sounds revolting and teaching a grown man how to wipe his bum must be a massive turn-off 🤮 🤮 🤮 As for shit on the sheets, I’d be absolutely fuming 😡 It’s disgusting!

SM4713 · 13/10/2023 19:15

I buy a pack of baby wet wipes and suggest he uses those! 😷

HoldOnMiGenna · 13/10/2023 19:16

Not only is he not wiping properly, but he bathes , yet doesn't wash his arse, but has enough about him to get in there to dry it and leave shit on the towels?
I had to come to Mumsnet to know that there are sane women out here having sex with, having children for men who haven't got bowel problems but leave dlifmsrks in briefs and on sheets and who after getting pissed in the pub, come home after managing to bypass the streets, the front doorstep, the passage, the toilet, their day clothes.....and shit the bed a couple times a year.
Since we are being frank. How come the OP managed to have sex with a man who has enough shit in his crack to leave skidmarks on sheets, but she never smelt him either when he is "plowing", or if she performs fellatio? That part of him from arsehole to balls must be well frownsy and shit smells a whole lot different to sex funk from two bodies that started off clean!

I won't even comment on this dirty man going into an occupied bathroom to cut a doo doo in full view of his partner. None of this is normal.
The bar is in hell for men. A woman only has to have the temerity to get not temporarily I'll to have a good chance of even a long time husband upping and leaving her.
Much less if she refuses to attend to her toilette to the point of there not being evidence of anything outside of a sewer plant.

AgnestaVipers · 13/10/2023 19:18

I do not have intimate relationships with men, so am not around them much. As a result, I have noticed that some men do smell like they don't wipe their arses. The smell they give off is rancid. I have also noticed that there are lots of men who have no qualms about leaving the toilet (a shared one at work, for example) covered in shit.

I am very glad to be a lesbian.

SacAMain · 13/10/2023 19:24

xyz111 · 13/10/2023 18:42

This isn't normal!!! I could never be with someone leaving shit on sheets and towels. My 5 year old doesn't even do that!!!!

my 5 year old even knows to have a poo while someone else is in the bath!

people are revolting.

rllrsk8 · 13/10/2023 19:26

My ex did this. One of many reasons he's my ex. Also had a lame "it's not my fault" excuse. It's gross and not normal, he needs to sort it out or you could both get ill.

Fartymcnarty · 13/10/2023 19:29

You are all so god damn correct and I can believe I’ve even had to ask the question!! I know the answer!!! And he’s not the father of my children just for the record, I many years with a man who could wipe his own arse before u reduced myself to this!

You need a Smart toilet for this skank, OP. They're really becoming popular in the UK.

Or, a divorce would be better.

greengreengrass25 · 13/10/2023 19:30

I would be more upset that he had to go to the loo doing a poo whilst you were having a bath

MargotBamborough · 13/10/2023 19:30

That's disgusting.

Why are you with this man?

And yes, there are men out there who know how to wipe their own arses. Christ.

mathanxiety · 13/10/2023 19:31
  1. You need a lock for your bathroom door.
  1. If he leaves shit on sheets and towels and presumably underwear, he's the one who gets the job of laundering all the soiled items, right?

She needs a new lock for her house! One he doesn't have a key to.

bonzaitree · 13/10/2023 19:33

This surely is grounds for divorce.

Fartymcnarty · 13/10/2023 19:34

We’re not married luckily, 2 year relationship, soon to come to an end once I stop being an idiot!! It’s honestly gross!!!
