With plotting to kidnap, murder, rape..how terrifying

Anyone know more about it?

There is more than one person involved because the charges are soliciting and incitement to commit murder, rape and kidnap. She still has 24 hour police protection even though one man is in custody.

I always feel very uncomfortable with online hate campaigns for this reason- there are nutters out there. When you open the door to trial by media you don’t know where it will end. Anyway, hope she’s ok.

Apparently she was due to go on air yesterday but This morning were informed and she decided not to go on air (I didn’t see yesterday)

I'm not a Holly fan anymore but this is horrendous & completely out of order. I hope they catch them all & throw the book at them! Her poor kids too - so scary for them all.

Although, call me cynical, but quite convenient it's happened at a time her popularity has significantly dipped in the wake of the Philip Schofield / queens funeral scandal and some of her actions were being questioned...

Well they've arrested someone so it's presumably real.

So she orchestrated a murder plot against herself to restore her reputation? A man has been charged; did he volunteer himself to shore up public sympathy for her??

Police must be on some online groups or someone has seen the incitement or been told and reported. Utterly terrifying for her and her family, she’s unlikely to feel safe again. The man at the centre must be seriously unwell. It’s shocking. The fact she’s police protection outside her house says there are more than just this man and she’s still at significant risk.

@Flyingalone, no, I meant JS - there was a plot to kidnap her from her Cornwall farmhouse by two men from Liverpool. I think that in Duffy’s case, someone succeeded…

@Flyingalone IIRC I think it was about 10 years back Joss Stone had a kidnap threat and the people were convicted. A samurai sword was involved in the plot. Dreadful for her.

Because I think to wish to do this you need to be very mentally unwell. No one with a healthy mind would wish to do this. And the issue is he’s clearly found other people with the same disorders to go after her.

i guess it’s semantics. Is someone who fantasies about kidnapping, raping and murdering a tv celeb who he’s never met, and then tries to ger others to join and actually do it, of a healthy mind, I suspect not. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t know exactly what he’s doing or right from wrong, just really I’m saying he’s one sick fuck.

Yes, my thoughts as well. The story in the DM last week about her being told to show off her cleavage to gain popularity when she was a kids tv presenter, was definitely spin.
