Does anyone else think they’re a pretty perfect couple?
I’ve been watching clips of their podcast thing on Instagram this week and finding it so funny. She’s actually really funny and witty, as is he and there’s proper banter there, don’t think Dh and I are ever really like that anymore, perhaps back in the day, things become to serious at times with bills, kids, mortgage etc. They just have a real laugh. At first I thought it was definitely her who *Wore the pants, but I can see it’s balanced in lots of ways
Anyone else been listening/watching?

I remember in Manchester around 2009, they were definitely together, him following my friend around a club, a very tall blonde, flirting with her and doing his robot dance. Oh it was so cringe.

I think if you marry a footballer you have to have that attitude. They all cheat. You have to turn a blind eye in exchange for the money and lifestyle. Plenty are willing to do it. Plenty will make a beeline for footballers, married or not because they know that the chances of them being sexually incontinent is pretty high. The only surprising thing is that he paid for it, when he could have walked into any nightclub in the country and got someone to shag him.

Being from Liverpool too I relate a lot to stuff Abby says about family life and raising kids etc compared to Pete’s experiences. I try not to get bogged down with the ohh he’s cheated on her and she’s done this an that, I just take it at face value and have a laugh along.

I think he’s odious, and I’m sorry she (or anyone in that position) didn’t leave him. Using a prostitute, and a teenage prostitute is appalling.

I've just said in another thread that I knew someone who knew her at the time she got together with Peter Crouch and seemed to think that at the time any player at that level at the time would have done (he’s quite unconventional looking and I doubt she’d have looked twice if he’d been poor) and she’d been trying to raise her own profile. I think she was modelling then.

I just Google searched and she looks quite different from when I saw her on the modelling competition programme. I realise that was nearly 20 years ago, but I didn’t realise she was still in her 30s. It looks like she’s had too much lip filler and her cheeks done. That’s a shame, it can’t have been needed?

This is the reason why I'm poor, I spend time on what I enjoy!

There’s plenty of women in the relationship board here putting up with cheating from dh with less money than Peter Crouch.

There was disparity in physical appearance between my dh and I 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I loved him & he made me happy.

Granted he didn’t sleep with a sex worker as far as I know.

She did look very different. She's gone overboard with the cheek and lip filler, and botox too. A subtle amount would have been better.

Just had a Google. She certainly looks different, but also, miles better. She’s had some good work.

I think she looks attractive still, obviously she was much younger in her 'UK Top Model' days and not really to be compared, but the cheeks and lips would have been better with slightly less filler. The lips look slightly trouty and 'done'. I don't agree the work is good.
