I've not watched TM since Ruth & Eamon and was off sick today so flicking channels. At the start of the program, Alison jumped on Jason Donovan to the laughter of Holly who said she 'mounted him' It was gutter TV and very unprofessional. I wonder what the reaction would have been if the mounting was the other way round? Shockingly bad presenters.

They're a disgrace

itsmyp4rty · 05/09/2023 17:27

I mean if he looked at all uncomfortable I'd agree, but he was laughing his head off and put his leg up to join in too. There's a good chance it's all rehearsed or at least discussed. If it was the other way round it would be different because of the power balance between men and women.

Mamai90 · 05/09/2023 17:42

I can't watch Holly on anything anymore.

threecupsofteaminimum · 05/09/2023 20:23

It's gutter lowest common denominator stuff now.

On the plus side it's probably forcing people off the sofa or to the radio in the morning and lunchtimes.

Holly is so past it professionally it's only her tv producer husband that's forcing the situation, it must be, it's so cringe I don't know how they haven't all swallowed themselves up like mouldy orange peel.

She really ought to read the room and bow out, she's like her mate Boris Johnson clinging on to the job despite knowing full well it's over and she's fucked it up.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving phoney.

Yes I wondered if her husband is pushing it. She looks stressed to me and like she's lost weight.

They are awful together and Alison's laugh is annoying

I dont watch it but also caught 10mins of it today

rubbish

Greenpolkadot · 06/09/2023 07:08

I can't stand Alison's laugh either.
She's due to present the GBBO. I love this programme but I dread think how much that horsey laugh is going to ruin it

Catlover1705 · 06/09/2023 07:11

They look wrong together, very forced and constantly grasping each other... really weird. God knows what ITV is thinking of.

Apparently they didnt win the award last night. First time in 12 years. The Repair Shop won it - well deserved.

Of all the awards last night this one really made me happy.

I saw that and cheered but was surprised that the Repair Shop won best daytime. I have only ever seen it on in the evening. Does it get repeated or do they have a separate daytime version?

I disagree, he doesn't have to look uncomfortable or react in the "right" was for this to be unacceptable

Willmafrockfit · 06/09/2023 07:28

Alison is the epitome of uncouth but i guess she appeals to someone somewhere

Good grief. A half decent TV programme won an award?! At the NTAs?!!

I thought only tat was allowed to ‘triumph’. Pass the smelling salts.

SquareOne01 · 06/09/2023 07:32

There were boos from the audience towards This Morning at one stage.

ArcaneWireless · 06/09/2023 07:33

There is an afternoon Repair Shop womencanlift

As for Holly and Alison? Neither of them are for me. I’m not looking forward to Bake Off.

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 06/09/2023 07:35

I shall never understand Holly Willoughby’s success. I find her intensely irritating and really nothing special.

Comedycook · 06/09/2023 07:36

I've been watching this morning all summer as no Holly....saw she was back yesterday so didn't bother to watch it.

I like Alison. Josie is good too. I actually thought Rochelle Humes and Andy Peters were really good together. I'd prefer to see them on.

Inkanta · 06/09/2023 07:37

Yes they're all the lovely on the Repair Shop. Pleased for them. Officially its on at 8pm.

Holly is an abomination of a presenter. I cannot abide by her.

Fuck knows who. She's awful.

Flymetothetoon · 06/09/2023 07:43

I'd like to see Rochelle & Andi get the gig on a permanent basis - loved them this past few weeks.

User16328715 · 06/09/2023 07:44

Why not just say you watched it instead of a load of old twaddle about flicking channels. The only decent presenters on there were Ruth, Eamonn and although it pains me to say it, Philip Schofield.
