  1. You can buy a grid that fits over the drain hole to stop the hairs from going down.
  2. You can use drain unclogger to dissolve hair in the trap, you don't have to fish it out.
  3. The only way your wife can stop her hair from falling out of her scalp in the shower is by shaving it off or cutting it very short, which isn't a reasonable thing to expect her to do. The OP's BF can be reasonably expected to clean his own shavings up.

In fairness the wife can also do these same things. I managed it.

My general thoughts….
2 bathrooms is the only way to solve this his and hers that each are responsible for cleaning.

LTB.

I know it's seen as a joke to say that, but I'm not joking.

Going by your username, you have a son. This filthy assclown is modelling to your son that:

  1. Men should expect women to have to do all the organising of the cleaning work, even if the man does some of the physical work.
  2. Men should resent having to clean up after themselves and should openly express that resent to their wives/GFs.
  3. Ideally, men shouldn't have to clean up after themselves at all, that's what wife/GF is for.

If you stay with the assclown, you are modelling to your son that:

  1. He can expect his future GF/wife to put up with him trying to weasel out of housework.
  2. He should expect his wife/GF to take on the mental load of organising stuff.
  3. His wife/GF will stay with him if he pulls this kind of shit.

If you throw the assclown back, you model to your son that if he treats his future wife/GF like a skivvy, he will find himself suddenly single.

I wouldn't be upset, id just tell him to clean it up. It wouldn't be an argument or anything.

There's no need for that!
Tbh id bin any man who shaved his chest anyway.

maras2 · 04/09/2023 01:42

Why does he shave his chest?
Is this a thing?
Is he due to have surgery?
Am I just an old gimmer? Smile

Welcome to my life with an ADHD partner.

Five years and counting.

NeunundneunzigHorseBallonz · 04/09/2023 03:18

Gross! How dare he minimize this and attempt to make it your problem. This is gaslighting at it’s best.

MixedCouple · 04/09/2023 03:22

Sorry this is all men. Every single man I know does this.
You need to pick your battles. If you are going to get upset when men do all these annoying things your life will be miserable.

I did the training approach and it never worked in family or OH. I did nagging. Does nothing.
I just don't sweat it anymore and just deal with it. Otherwise I would be depressed and suicidal.

I think someone might want to fuck us all.😁

RantyAnty · 04/09/2023 03:56

Disgusting.

Of course he notices it.

I guarantee he'd be upset if he checked into a nice hotel and the sinks, shower were left like that.

chocolatemademefat · 04/09/2023 03:58

Never get married. If you do your life will be a series of disappointments.

It is possible to marry a man who cleans the bathroom, they do exist.

Me too! I was struggling to see the problem ( full disclosure I am a crap housewife - but then none of my kids have allergies so I'm taking that as a win 😂)

rwalker · 04/09/2023 04:36

I think can you clean this up would off been enough
when you get out of the shower does look such a mess till it drains and drys
