Just for fun.

Mine is the woman who posted for advice about what to do about her husband who was talking to their cat really sensually. Not baby talk but like sensuous loving ”ooh your fur is so good my darling pussycat” and it gave her the absolute ick.

Every time I talk to my dog I remember her and chuckle. I wonder how she’s doing 😂

The thread that brought me to Mumsnet. Woman on first date with a posh chap, when she had a rather unfortunate IBS incident. On returning to the table, the guy said to her:

”Are you OK, darling? You smell faintly of botty.”

me and my husband still say this to each other regularly.

Not a thread but a post about a woman out on a date with a very posh man. She'd had a sudden fit of diarrhoea in the pub toilet only to discover there was no loo roll. She thought she'd sorted herself out until the man very politely asked her if she was OK, as "you smell faintly of botty". Every time I hear someone speaking with RP it reminds me of this 🤣

The woman who was in a sexless marriage with her husband and agreed to an open marriage. She didn’t want to have sex with him or show any affection however she loved her life and the house they lived in. Kids were adults and it was just them two in the house.

Surprise, surprise her husband caught feelings for one of the women that he’d been sleeping with. They’d go out for meals together, hold hands in public etc. She’d even met their long term friends! It was all shambolic and she had two threads which reached 1000 comments.

I always wonder how she’s doing

The covid essentials threads were mad. I remember posters being berated for deeming bread and milk as worthy of leaving the house for (and endangering everyone) as bread has no nutritional content and milk is a junk food 😵

The thread where the woman was married to a traveller had children but wanted to leave due to abuse. She had lived a normal life growing up so was finding the lifestyle really difficult but he had a gun so she was too frightened to go. The MIL caused problems too. I often wondered if she managed to escape.

I always remember 2 very similar posters one was in a b and b I think with multiple kids with health issues and the other had a lot of kids with health issues too. Both very similar and kept posting all the time but neither seemed able to take any advice

This one isn't a massive memorable thread but I still think about it because we didn't get any answers! The OP was complaining that Somthing/someone was turning on her outside tap during the night. Posters advised her to set up a camera which she agreed to do and the never came back and updated!

I always remember Tricky Tree Lou and often wonder how she and Adam are. I followed her for a long time through her husbands affair, her finding out OW was pregnant, then her finding out she was pregnant herself.

Also loved Mexican House Thief, Penis Beaker, Span Gran and many of those classics!

Yes I remember that
@Sososadallthetime . It was recent one with a diagram and the tap was weirdly placed under a stair that had to be lifted up in a weird way.

God, I remember the 9ne with the creepy garden music!

Remember the one with the floppy baby? A poster said that her boss started showing up to work with a floppy baby which he carried under his arm like a football all day. It was clearly a weird joke post but the poster just kept winding people up until it got deleted. People would respond, "Say something to him!" And the OP would say, "Well it's awkward."
