Just as the Australian Governmnet have pointed out that Prince William is also Prince of Australia, we hear that the Queen of Spain and her daughter are attending the final.

So, in contrast where is Sunak, the PM who loves jet travel? Would he not be attending if it was a male England team in the final.

Well Prince William cannot go to Australia, as King Charles has to go first and Australia haven't invited him yet. As for the PM it's a long trip and he can't win either way. If he goes people will be complaining about climate change etc and if he doesn't go, then they complain too

More of an argument for William to be there as President of the FA. If he had went he’d have received a lot of flak for the money it cost to get him there, environmental impact etc. So it’s a hard one for him to win.

It's got nothing to do with him being the president of the FA. The information about how the protocols work is very easy to find if you do a tiny bit of searching. The PM has no role in the FA. William does and I think he should have gone. However I assume other FA top brass was there. The Spanish Royalty have a history of going to everything. I remember the former King and Queen ever present at the Barcelona Olympics. I guess Wills is on holiday! Ann is often the stand in. Maybe no one invited them and they didn’t fancy the long flight?
