The recent pictures of Daniela Westbrook has attracted a lot of negative comments. I can’t help but feeling sorry for someone who clearly has had issues to deal with throughout her life.

Do you find it is rude to say she looks awful?

Oh Daniella - just such a sad sad life - she's trying to make a living, I suspect she'll end up making ££'s on OnlyFans (if she's not already) she's always had a good bod - and the compulsion to have her an an 'exhibit' will always be a draw to certain individuals.
I can only wish her well, and to not see her obituary any time soon.

I feel sorry for her and I wonder if that photo has been messed with to make her look more terrible. I don't know what her life is like and why she got into drugs so no smug judgment from me. This thread will likely be pulled. As it should be.

She looks awful yes, another one going down the Katie Price/Kerry Katona route of selling photos to the papers and having an only fans account.

Pity really she was an actress (not that good!) but they all (Price never had talent) seem to have jacked in their proper careers for these ones.

OK, so reading the article it seems she has had botched surgery in Turkey so I don't think it is all from the drug abuse.

Her facial disfigurement started with a horrendous car crash in the 90's (she wasn't the driver). She looked markedly different after that I remember- she needed surgery around her eye area. I doubt that helped her confidence/career/addiction issues.

Its very sad to see what has happened to her face.

She had a 'perfect' upbringing but got involved in clubbing and drugs at a young age, like many in the 80s and 90s, it was quite trendy then, Im just a bit older than her and most of us would be clubbing in the late 80s even though we were 'too young'. I never did drugs like that though

Obviously once she got famous then I suppose the drugs and money comes free flowing and its all viewed as 'fun'

For people asking why other drug addicts dont look like her..... well they do!!

If you work with people with long standing addictions they look awful, physically awful, fallen apart and older than their years. Thats if they're still alive.

I think she says that shes got a myriad of MH disorders but that will undoubtedly be due to the drug use.

This is how she makes her living. Photographs of her in the Daily Mail, Daily Star and the Sun etc pay for her lifestyle.

She's played the game for years.

What she privately thinks of her appearance doesn't come into it, she and the media know that people want to see what she looks like.

Good or bad comments, it doesn't matter to her as she is earning money from doing it.

I dont think its just playing a game, much of her face has collapsed and it could have a severe effect on her eating/breathing etc

That's so sad. She looks awful and is obviously unwell. The paper knows she looks nothing like MM so why almost laugh at her? When young she was absolutely beautiful but the drugs ruined. She looks like Kerry Katona at her worst. Poor vulnerable Daniella and Kerry.

She looks like someone with a cleft lip and palate (I say as someone who does have one) the nose and lip are really bad, but it kinda made me paranoid cos if people say that about vulnerable women like her, what the heck do they say about me?! I feel for her so bad, it’s awful to take those pictures as click bait and not as an educational tool to warn people.

I feel sad for her and also for her children. Seeing her nose when I was a teenager definitely put me off drugs.

It's far easier to criticize and be mean about her, than show an ounce of compassion. Not my generation, but I have heard of her. That picture is very haunting trauma in reality. I hope she finds some peace in herself also she looks like she is in pain or damaged from the surgery. She might never read this but I wish you well!

Here we go again - “why can’t she just stack shelves in a supermarket” is such an old fashioned thing to say.

The online application is long and complicated, involving lots of “what would you do in this situation” type questions, examples of when you have shown initiative etc. You have to turn up for a whole day’s training which you better pass or you’re out. Asda used to ask you to work a 4 hour trial shift unpaid (maybe they still do?)

They prefer people with retail experience, competition is fierce, hours are not guaranteed, it is a physically demanding job, you have to multi task between shop floor, self service checkouts, tills and warehouse. Why anyone thinks it’s an easy choice for someone who is down on their luck is beyond me.

Regarding Daniella’s lifestyle, I just think about all the ordinary non famous ex (or current) drug addicts who can’t make a quick buck from the Daily Mail. I guess they have to resort to stealing from said supermarkets to get by, instead of the freebies and cash available to Z listers so we can all laugh at them.

She’s a lot better off than some people.

Thank you! The amount of times I hear this rubbish 'just stack shelves' often said to divorcing previously SAHM soon to be single mothers!! Plenty of people apply and fail or just don't get accepted for an interview after the billion questions.

They're also HIGHLY in competition. Lots of parents trying to work around children or trying to add a second job in, are after them.

She's clearly a very fucked up person, but yes, of course she looks awful. I have limited sympathy, she made her choices, the same as we all do. Her's just seem to involve vast quantities of charlie and endless plastic surgery (and how the heck does she fund it?).

Cocaine also erodes the brain very quickly too.

I feel very sorry for KP, KK, DW they were exploited by men, who encouraged them by making them think they were strong, empowered women and in control - but they weren’t - they were exploited, KP I think stated she was raped at 7- drugs, alcohol - no mental, emotional, financial support - most all of them seem to seek ‘pure love’ but don’t actually know what it means - they seem to think sex = men loving you, same with love bombing, marriage etc

most of them end up with scoundrel men who we see for what they are - using them for money, sex, fame etc exactly the opposite of what they need.

Yes she says in one of the articles she needs reconstruction of her palate otherwise she might suffocate. These are big time serious health concerns and she isnt likely to get help for that on the NHS, particularly if she is chaotic about engaging and/or still using anything, hence her search for surgery abroad by the looks of it, which has the risk of it going wrong with no support.

Also some people are more prone to addiction than others, some can drink and not become alcoholics, same with drugs, many are occasional users of cocaine but others become highly addicted. If she was ever to use her face it should be to try to warn others against cocaine and drug use, she actually looks like a crystal meth user and I do not mean in a bad way but shocking and really feel for her. I do not know if she still uses, can anyone enlighten me.

I agree that this looks more like Meth than cocaine damage to me. And no surgeon would touch an active user with a barge pole. I don’t know what would ever get her to stop. One her kids was born an addict. Nothing will stop her.

Sorry but not sorry I don’t have an ounce of pity for her, she had a perfectly decent ish; face at one point; there’s a saying you are what you eat but in her case it’s you are what you snort up your snout; she made her lifestyle choices; she now has to live with the consequences. It’s cruel the comments in the tabloids but like all fame hungry has beens she’s made sure the rags knew where she’d be; they didn’t just happen up on her by chance; as for looking like Marilyn Monroe, not in a month of Sundays; Marilyn had her faults but she was a truly beautiful woman.

But no sympathy for people who are suffering mental torture through no fault of their own? Where’s your stance on lung cancer brought about by smoking? Probably one cancer that’s not worthy enough for your sympathy, by your own reckoning.
Can’t you have some empathy for your fellow human beings in distress, regardless of whose ‘fault’ it is?
