Anyone live in Milton?

Dh has been offered a position there, we’re from The North, I know nothing about the place!

Milton in Cambridge has a sewage works located next to its country park and it stinks. So I'd avoid that Milton.

It’s being moved to Horningsea soon (as in few years time)

There is also Great Milton and Little Milton in Oxfordshire. I happen to know there’s a paper round job going in Great Milton so it’s probably that Milton.

There is also Milton of Balgonie which is small village in Fife, Scotland. Pleasant enough little place.

Ask him where it is? Look it up in Google having found out where it is? Ask some strangers about it without telling them whee it is?

I'm going to suggest you dont leave The North 😀

Fingers crossed the recruitment agent wasn't a local from somewhere like Milton Abbas or Milton Abbott who's used to abbreviating the town's name, or we're all screwed and need to start the process of elimination all over again...

We lived in Milton for a few years. Lovely place - river nearby, boats and stuff. Good primary school. Good road network for getting to places further afield. Bit pricey though. Go for it.

Milton sterilising fluid is made by a company called Ceuta Healthcare which is based in Bournemouth , that could be a few hours from London depending on traffic.
