So not owing the car means what exactly - that admissions somehow don't count even when you drive for pleasure (assume that why you drive a camper van ) - but fuck people taking a taxi to get sick kids to hospital because their emission there are evil or it's an unnecessary journey.
Pretty much proves the point I was making - it's always everyone else need to change their behavior
.
I regularly use public transport - we don't drive at all - it has limits and needs much more investment - sometime it can't get you where you need to go even factoring in walking long distances or biking on top, sometime it can but in an acceptable timeframe or with everything you need to take with you - that when we've used a rare taxi.
IME it's always people who drive everywhere you go on about how great public transport is - when regular experience shows it usually - outside of London - its very expensive not every extensive or joined up and sometime unreliable and usually a much longer journey time. Again none of this has anything to do with a mother tasking a baby to hospital in a taxi
The not much point saying any more - I think I shall have to do as I did with the green journalism talking about his holiday flights and moaning he couldn't cope without a car in London even though his kids were adults while lecturing everyone else about their emissions - and just stop reading.
