His wiki page says he’s a Christian and a weekly church goer. Not a great ambassador for them, ah well

Vicky Flind seems to have a successful career as a tv producer, now. Is someone going to insist that's because of her casting couch appeal?

I have an uncle who did things similar to HE: uncle was upstanding family man, married, dad of many, leader of his (conservative, fundamentalist, evangelical) church, plenty public profile, with a secret sexual vice that went on for decades. Illegal in his case (did not involve children, btw !!). Uncle has rebuilt his life well after it all came out.

He said he compartmentalised his sins & prayed that God would relieve him of the desires. He didn't know how else to deal with it. He shouldn't stop trying to be a good person & encouraging everyone else to be good, even if he had these moments of failure.

He has had bouts of crippling depression for over 20 years, and spoke about it in a documentary a couple of years ago.

I was only interested in this story hoping that The BBC TV Licence fee might be abolished as I am struggling to pay it. I wonder if I send in a picture of my minge, they'll accept that instead?

Can someone enlighten me please? What's it mean he's not committed an offense. Did he purchase images or not? We're the images purchased when the boy was older than 18, is that why it's not as an offense? Or was it a totally made up story? So confused.

I don’t think people even care about the young people involved as it’s more like this is just another thing to slather over.

As far as i can see we have some unsubstantiated allegations and thats it.

The Sun originally said he was abusing a minor, it now turns out he wasn't (no MET action) so what else may well turn out to be a crock of shite?

That's not true. Yesterday BBC News saw messages he had sent to a young person and verified they were definitely from his phone. He may not have committed a crime but he's a sleaze.

I've had MH problems, but I haven't had the weight of living a double life and indulging in risky behaviour to add signficantly to mine.

I was very shocked. I just read he's got 5 DC, and given that he's 61, some of them are likely to be older than the person/people he was allegedly involved with.
